I have 5 Boxers and they get along with everyone. My females treat small dogs like they are their puppies. The older small dogs do not like it. But they end up running in the dog park anyways. I had a chow chow that suffered with hot spots during the summer they look like big blisters that oozes liquid. When they are healing they scab over but you have to watch the dog because they will reopen it. I know how you feel, it was a horrible site on my Candy Cane.
