Maybe there is something wrong with ur system, when it is supposed to unlock an emblem, does it come up with a error message etc. If so, get help. If not, then just level up, kill stuff etc. If u only play MW3 single player, then u cant unlock any emblems there. Same with spec ops I think.

That's what I use except I just now changed the attack helicopter to pave low. As a primary you can also use acr6.8 kick silencer. I suggest stinger because you can shoot down annoying uav's andchoppers for ks pts. Throwing knife because of you're out of ammo and too far away it can come in handy. Flash is useful in objective game modes like demolition because u can be around a corner and throw one, and everyone protecting the bomb site will be blinded so you get easy kills. Hard line gets you ks easy, SoH is good if you empty you mag while shooting some one, and stalker pro because you delay movement triggered explosives like ims, bb, claymores. That's about it, and also use tactical button layout if you want to drop shot.(go prone while shooting so enemy shoots above your head and misses)

As your spec ops level increases you will unlock the different map tier's, to do this play the easier maps first.

well there is one guy who is randomly picked infected and he starts off with a gun that has ammo and once he kills someone they switch to only having a pistol with tac. knife, a throwing knife (online only), and a tac. insertion. so now you just have to survive against the people that are infected and you can get M.O.A.B if you get enough kills. Lastly once everyone is killed and is infected the game is over.
