Most fish are symmetrical, which means if you divided them in half, each side would be the same. With fish, each side would have an eye, a pectoral fin, the same amount of body and half a tail.
Why is my snails shell cracking and chipping?
Check your gH/gH (hardness) levels. It is likely that your water is too hard or that your temperatures may be wrong. I can't tell you the correct temperatures, since you didn't tell me what kind of snail it is. Also, make sure your snail is receiving a varied diet including flake foods and fresh vegetables such as zucchini, romaine lettuce, spinach and peas. It's possibly suffering from low protein and/or calcium.
Algae
------------
Although they are considered to beomnivoe
parrotfish eat a wide variety of organisms that live on coral reefs. Some species, for example Bolbometopon muricatum may include corals (polyps) in their diet. Their feeding activity is important for the production and distribution of coral sands in the reef biome and can prevent algae from choking coral. They eat plants at the bottom of the sea and the other animals poop.
How do betta fish make babies?
Betta fish reproduce through a process called spawning. The male builds a bubble nest at the water's surface, then courtship and mating take place. The female releases eggs, which the male fertilizes, and he collects them in the bubble nest to protect them until they hatch.
You just got a boy and girl molly how long will it take until the girl has babies?
As for becoming pregnant, you have to see wether she is in heat. You can tell just by the way she acts witch is chasing the male anround or chasing other fish. If this is happening, put them in a separate tank and leave them alone for 1-2 hours. (I would recommend leaving them for 2 and 1/2 hours) They should mate at least 2 or 3 times during that period. When the time is up, put them both back into the main tank and if the female fish doesnt look like she swallode a marbel in about a month or so, she didnt get pregnant. Then you have to start over. If she does look like she swallod a marbel, then she is pregnant. My molly was so fat I thought she would burst! But I know why now because she had 32 fry. (Im still looking for more they like to hide in the rocks.)
Good luck with your fish!!
How many fish can you put in a fish tank?
The maximum is about 1 inch of fish per gallon of water for most aquariums.
1"fish=1gallon
2"fish=2gallons
3"fish=3gallons

Do goldfish need air pumps What other type of fish needs an air pump that can be in a 5 gallon tank?
A goldfish does not need an airpump, it needs 3 stage filtration and good water movement from something such as a box filter and/or power heads. A goldfish, however, is not suited for a 5 gallon tank. 10 gallons per goldfish is the recommended minimum, as they grow very large and require more oxygen than almost any other fish. I would recommend something smaller such as rosy minnows, guppies, or if you get a heater, small tropical fish like tetras. ALL fish however, need filtration, not just an air pump.
What is the life cycle of a betta fish?
The life cycle of a betta fish includes hatching from eggs, developing into fry which are fed infusoria or brine shrimp, growing into juveniles in larger tanks, and finally reaching adulthood where they are ready to breed. Bettas can live for about 2-4 years on average, but with proper care, they can live up to 5 years or more.
How long can fish live in a bag?
Usually the bag water temperature will match the tank water temperature within a half hour to an hour, depending how large the fish bag is. Fish stores usually put enough air in the bag for it survive for several hours.
A good way to release the fish into the tank is to slowly mix the tank water in with the bag water to allow the fish to adjust to any pH difference. Be gentle and ease the fish into the tank. The less stress on the fish the better chances it will survive.
What is it when freshwater fish lose their tail and the stub is all white?
This is fin rot. Fin rot happens when fish are under stress, such as from poor water quality. Make sure your ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites are at low levels (the test will say what is acceptable). Ammonia should be no higher than 0. If they are higher than they should be, water changes and an ammonia removing product such as AmQuel will bring them down. After you have fixed your water quality, buy an over the counter antibiotic to rid the fish of the bacteria that managed to attack it while it's slime coat was messed up.
No. Male bettas can be kept in community aquariums, but should not be kept with fish that look anything like they do, or are small enough to eat. A male betta will mistake a guppy for another betta and kill it. Female bettas, however, can be kept with other "betta-like" fish without a problem.
Do you put in stress coat or stress zyme in first for an aqarium for fish?
It is generally recommended to add Stress Coat first when setting up a new aquarium or performing a water change. Stress Coat helps to remove chlorine and chloramine from tap water, while also providing aloe vera to help reduce fish stress. Stress Zyme is typically added after to introduce beneficial bacteria for the aquarium's biological filtration.
Dragon fish are primarily a peaceful brackish water tank inhabitant. If you have more aggressive tankmates in with him, they may be seeking cover for safety. Also, in my experience they are not very efficent swimmers and so if your tank has alot of current that may perhaps be another reason for the fish seeking crevices to hunker down in.
because they are scared of the big bush like asses so they are scared lol
i am not even sure so i wrote this like it if u dont get it and like it if u think this is waste answer
How many gallons in 11ft deep 4ft diameter tank?
To calculate the volume of a cylindrical tank, you would use the formula V = πr^2h, where r is the radius of the tank (half of the diameter). In this case, the radius would be 2 feet (half of 4 feet). Plugging in the values, V = π(2^2)(11) = 88π cubic feet. To convert this to gallons, you would multiply by 7.48 (since 1 cubic foot is approximately 7.48 gallons), giving you approximately 656 gallons.
6 cubic foot aquarium dimension?
To calculate the dimensions of a 6 cubic foot aquarium, you first need to determine the dimensions in terms of length, width, and height. If the aquarium is rectangular, you can use the formula: length x width x height = volume. For a 6 cubic foot aquarium, the dimensions could be 2 feet (length) x 1.5 feet (width) x 2 feet (height).
Sucker fish typically eat algae, detritus, small invertebrates, and sometimes fish eggs. They use their specialized mouths to attach to surfaces and scrape off the algae and microorganisms.
A scientist who studies fish is called an ichthyologist. Ichthyologists examine the biology, ecology, behavior, and evolution of fish species in both freshwater and marine environments. They often focus on aspects such as anatomy, physiology, and conservation of fish populations.
African reed frogs are small, colorful frogs found in sub-Saharan Africa. They are known for their vibrant colors and unique patterns, and are often found near water sources such as ponds, marshes, and rivers. These frogs are skilled climbers and jumpers, using their long limbs to navigate their environment.
If my yellow tang is breathing rapid what is the cause?
If it is acting sluggish and frequently going to the surface of the water, it probably needs more oxygen in the water! Make sure the tank is clean and free of algae, and that there is a pump that constantly generates air bubbles or trickles a waterfall.
How often should you change the filter on your fish tank?
It is recommended to change the filter in your fish tank every 2-4 weeks to maintain water quality and keep your fish healthy. However, monitor your tank regularly and adjust the frequency based on water clarity and the size of your tank.
What is the name of a fish with dots in tail?
The fish you are referring to is likely the Black Molly (Poecilia sphenops). They are known for their distinct black coloration with white or yellow dots on their tail.
What are the abiotic and biotic factors of a fish tank?

sunlight
amount of dissolved oxygen in the water
temperature
gravel at the bottom
plastic plants
biotic
fish
aquatic plants
micro organism
algae
Usually this means that your frog is an albino version of a reticulated clawed frog. as far as I know it's just their colouring. This happened to my frog 'gamma,' a few months ago and he's so healthy.
