What is the sound made by a mouse?
While there is no official name to the sound and noise that a mouse makes, it is generally called a "squeak" based on the squeaky nature of the tone of the sound. These squeaks help a mouse communicate all different sorts of emotion ranging from happiness to sadness to even hunger.
How much water can you drink a day?
it depends on how thirsty you are. but for an average human about 3 gallons.
Not 3 gallons, but about 2 1/2 to 3 liters. You can drink more, but that is the recommended amount of water.
How many babys can a mouse have in a month?
According to what I have read, mice usually have litters of 8 -10, but can have as many as 17. The gestation period is 16 - 21 days, and they can become pregnant again immediately after giving birth, but that this is not healthy and the male should be removed prior to birth and not reintroduced until about 2 weeks after the baby mice are weaned to give the mother time to rest between litters. Anyway, by my math, if two adult mice are left together, they could have 34 babies in one month's time.

This site should have all the info you need:

Just keep it alive. My baby mouse I found in the garage died today. I cried for about an hour.
Master Chaos Demon: Also, DO NOT feed them any form of puppy or kitten milk. The same goes for baby squirrels. They CAN NOT digest it. I've had this happen to me before. I tried feeding esbilac (a type of puppy formula) and soy milk. Both animals died. The best form of formula to feed an infant mouse if they still need a formula, is a form of goat's milk. It is the easiest to digest. Cheese is fine for them if in moderation. That's what my sister gave her pet fancy rat as a treat. She was able to train him to do tricks and stuff.
It all depends. Fortunately a pet mouse can live up to 24 or 36 months. Pet mouse color is mostly white, black, gray and brown. Also rodents make good pets(i.e: squirrel, racoon, rabbit, hamster and guiena pig.) Several people like fancy mice as pets (including me!) Within twelve weeks and after eight months, the mouse will breed. (Warning: You may not keep a pet mouse unattended; doing so so can be very dangerous, and you will lose the mouse. Public places also prohibit pets.) Despite those warnings, mouse training is a good way to keep mice healthy and get enough physical activity. After a week or two, the mouse will be week old. Mice will be 10 days old after 10 days. Within a few years, the mouse will die. With proper care, the mouse will live even longer. The mouse will live to five years or more. A cage will keep the mouse from straying. Even though mice are inexpensive, they cost a fortune. The cage is also inexpensive. Once you got the mouse, you can buy the food. And when the food comes, keep the mouse back into the cage. They can poop and eat a lot, so make sure you clean up the cage once a week. Mice can also escape very easily. Not letting the mouse get out of the cage is good for mice under the age of two days. But it also helps the male from smelling. The female also mates the male before breeding. The pups are born blind. All babies are born blind. And all mice are clean. Are all pet mice healthy? Yes, those rodents are healthy. And they, like other rodents, do not vomit
Should mice be separated if they are pregnant?
YES!
You MUST separate a pregnant female from any males, as the males are likely to eat the babies once they are born. You SHOULD separate females unless they both have their litters at the SAME time. Female mice will care for each other's babies, but if one mouse is not lactating (producing milk) she may try to care for some of the babies but will actually starve them, as she is not aware that she isn't producing milk.
It is best to separate a pregnant mouse at least a week before her litter is due (2 weeks after she gets pregnant).
Can rats have two babies at da same tyme?
No unless interaction from a male rat (such as getting a rat that is about to have babies). two female rats can not have babies
How can you get your two male mice to stop fighting?
You Could Either Buy Them Seperate Cages And Use Those For A While Or I Have Two Male Mice And If You're Mouse Has A Cut Or Anything Then Dab Salty Water On Their Back It Helps Heal Up The Cut And Doesnt Taste Nice Soo The Other Mouse Wont Wanna Bit It ! Or YOu Could Add Some More Mouse TOys To Keep Them Entertained Or Try Adding More Foor To Them !
What do you do when your mouse is nearly dying?
I had 2 mice and they both caught something and were dying. I was so sad when I woke up and discovered them. I took them out of their cage and put them in a clean, clear, container. Then I gave them fresh water. Do NOT force them to drink because it may make them choke. They didn't take the water at first so I tried putting the water on my hand and that helped them drink. I then also gave them some timothy hay covered in dried yogurt (from Petco) and they just kept laying there. So I picked them both up and put them on my chest to keep them warm. And eventually (in about 5 minutes) they started to perk up. The last thing I did was give them their favorite food, Whales crackers!
no,mice are not immune to poison!!!
Edit: well no, not at first. But, careful exposure to small amounts of a specific toxin over a long period of time will lead to a partial immunity to that toxin, in the same way that a seasoned cocaine addict will be able to metabolize larger amounts of cocaine than could safely be metabolized by a first-time user.
How old should baby rats be before you touch them?
Contrary to popular belief, you can touch a baby rat at any stage of its life (although its best not to interfere with the actual birth). The problem arises when the person touching the rat has dirty hands that have substances that will hurt the young rat or cause it to smell differently. In the latter case the mother may think that the child is sick and will eat or kill her baby.
When handling younger rats make sure your hands are clean and free from soap residue or other chemicals and if possible make sure that you touch all of the other children and the mother so that they all smell the same.
What age do baby mice have to be before you can hold them?
I'm not to sure, depends on if you have orpahned mice or mice with it's mother. I am taking care of 1 orphaned baby mouse now. I just set him on paper toweles and a sock to keep him warm. I am just changeing the papertoweles every other day. He's about six days old and hes doing great. If you have baby mice with its mother that hasent opened their eyes yet or JUST opened them, I wouldent mess with them. I'm not a professional so don't take my advise if you don't think I'm correct.
AnswerWait until you know the babies are a week old. And even then, avoid the mother's nest area and only clean the rest of the cage, leaving the nest undisturbed.for sure you should not even consider cleaning a cage with baby mice until they are beginning to move around the cage on their own about 4-5 weeks of age. I am a long long time mouse and rat owner.
What should you do with new born mice and the mother without killing them?
Leave the mice and the mother alone for three days. Let the mother and the babies bond and settle down. After three days, you can then handle the baby mice and the mother mouse.
It is best to take the mother mouse out first and put her some where safe while you handle her babies. If she made a den by going under something like a mouse house, it is really important to remove her first. She won't kill them, but if you put the thing that the den is made under aside and start handling the mice, she will grab her babies and carry them up under the mouse house or whatever it is she is using.
yes rats can hibernate just like hamesrters or sorts ------ but only under the right conditions of cold temperature and food scarcity, otherwise they do not hibernate... unless you keep your pet rat outside during the winter where its cold... it won't hibernate
What treats to give a pet mouse?
Mice love many things, try them on food like peanuts (made specially for mice ) apple sunflower seeds. And even try putting a blob of veggie oil on their wheel ( my mice love that ) Or you could give them a dog training treat - if they are good. Try little bits and bobs till they like something . DON'T give them cheese or ice burg lettuce and things that are watery.
Cheerios they love them and dried apple.
Some fruits and veggies but not too many as it can cause diarrhea. My mice enjoy small bits of celery and banana.
