How come you cant touch a baby mouse without fur?
yes but you have to not let any animals near them and feed them nealy every couple of hours.
Many domestic guinea pigs are too big for the average pet cat to eat. But be careful - some cats will certainly go for a baby guinea pig. I once had a cat that was an excellent ratter, killing rats quickly and eating them, and she also got in to my baby guinea-pigs and started carrying them off one by one.
How do you take care of albino rats?
Like any other rat.
^ This was the original answer. While for the most part I agree, I just want to add that an albino rats do have impaired eyesight as well as sense of smell.
You will notice that your albino rat will engage in head swaying. This helps them see better.
Also, your albino rat's eyes are more sensitive to light and damage in general.
Polka Dot is my first rat and she is also albino. She's gorgeous and lovely but you can tell when I rearrange her cage, put her someplace she hasn't been, or put her in her ball she does have a very hard time seeing where she's going.
Just remember, especially when first bonding with your albino rat, that you need to take things slower than with other rats.

How do you calm down an adult mouse after it saw two adult rats in the room?
Put it back in it's cage and give it treats, sunflower seeds ect. Make sure it has a nice dark place to hide into. My mouse is terrified of rats, but alas for him, he shares a room with two =3 all u need to do is put it back into the cage, i dont see why you would be showing the mouse the rats because they are the natural enemy of the mouse!
Can male and female mice live together?
Male mice can co-exist fine together as long as they cannot see, smell, or hear females.(You also want to make sure that they each have enough food for themselves to prevent violent fighting.)
well assuming there pet rats not wild ones..the rat has to be confident in the fact that the owner isn't there to harm it. i would suggest talking to it and letting it know your not an enemy. eventually you can pick it up and hopefully it wont be scared of you. make sure you wash your hands before handling, it might be because you smell of food you've handled and rats have a very good nose but poor sight.
Can mice get sick from their bedding?
No, in fact it is a great thing to put in their cage because they like to tear it and spread it around. I put some in the cage for my mice, and they love it!

Raccoons are one of the animals that will carry their young in their mouths. You will also see wolves doing the same thing.
How do you care for a newborn mice?
Well one way is to make sure the newborn is warm. If it freezes it will die. You can also heat up some milk (make sure it's not too hot because newborn mice are very sensitive) and then get a little dropper so the mouse can suck the milk out of it. Make sure to feed it at least every two hours. Most of the time it may be sleeping so you wan't have to feed it then. And remember they are very sensitive. They cannot see yet and their bones are very fragile. So be careful!
Will a mother mouse come back to a disturbed nest?
virually guaranteed... but if you handle the young, she may well eat them... just like rabbit mother will, if you handle theie young in the first few days of life... suggest you put out the trap, and return to collect dead mother, and kill remaining young, and dispose of i the garbage.
Are female mice faster than male mice?
yes they are boys mice are always more dosile than girls. That's what i find with my mice.
I found a baby mouse in a driveway today. It's eyes were still closed and it was still alive, so I took it inside. I fed it some cow milk from a tiny spoon and it drank it all. I tried putting it in a little box with a dry washcloth in it and a few bits of leaves. The baby seems to find it comfertable because it sleeps in it a lot.
