I don't know if mice are friendly like rats and hamters are. I know for sure rats are friendly because I got four of them. I guess mice can be friendly if you treat them right. give them treats and alot affection and they will give affection right back to you.

This very much depends on the gender, and social situation. Were these rats living together? If not, there is a high chance of the advantaged rat attacking, as this is highly likely to happen regardless of whether or not that rat is injured. Two Male rats are far more aggressive towards each other if they have never met, as both are fighting to be the dominant . Two females may fight too, regardless if one or the other is injured. Females tend to be more active and jumpy, while males tend to be lazier, but more aggressive.

as the other person said that the rats attack you from not washing your hands that is soo not true. 1) why would you even have rats in your house 2) rats dont attack for fun in fact if you bother them they will attack and they bit hard so becareful you just leave them alone and they wont do anything. Many domestic guinea pigs are too big for the average pet cat to eat. But be careful - some cats will certainly go for a baby guinea pig. ^ This was the original answer. While for the most part I agree, I just want to add that an albino rats do have impaired eyesight as well as sense of smell.

You will notice that your albino rat will engage in head swaying. This helps them see better.

Also, your albino rat's eyes are more sensitive to light and damage in general.

Polka Dot is my first rat and she is also albino. She's gorgeous and lovely but you can tell when I rearrange her cage, put her someplace she hasn't been, or put her in her ball she does have a very hard time seeing where she's going.

Just remember, especially when first bonding with your albino rat, that you need to take things slower than with other rats.

definitely take him to the vet! it could be very serious and once you have taken him to the vet make sure you give him all of his medications and/or surgery. (if needed) after that all you can do is pray he will be OK!

My mouse is terrified of rats, but alas for him, he shares a room with two =3 all u need to do is put it back into the cage, i dont see why you would be showing the mouse the rats because they are the natural enemy of the mouse!

Male mice can co-exist fine together as long as they cannot see, smell, or hear females.(You also want to make sure that they each have enough food for themselves to prevent violent fighting.)

well assuming there pet rats not wild ones..the rat has to be confident in the fact that the owner isn't there to harm it. i would suggest talking to it and letting it know your not an enemy. eventually you can pick it up and hopefully it wont be scared of you. make sure you wash your hands before handling, it might be because you smell of food you've handled and rats have a very good nose but poor sight.
