Armscor makes the M20P that has a magazine compatible with the Charles Daly lr field grade. I took photos of the magazine and the .22 and sent it to them.It is now the M20P, with improvements. It seems Charles Daly sold to KBI who sold to Armscor who merged with Rock Island. The magazines are 10 and 15 round.

To remove the bolt from a Charles Daly 12 gauge shotgun, first ensure the firearm is unloaded and the safety is engaged. Open the action and locate the bolt release, usually found near the rear of the receiver. Depress the bolt release while pulling the bolt rearward, allowing it to detach from the receiver. Once fully retracted, you can lift the bolt out of the receiver. Always refer to the specific owner's manual for your model for detailed instructions.

With no criminal record, 18 for long guns and 21 for handguns.

As a 25th year W.U. commemorative (Only 250 of these guns were manufactured, special order ) it lists between $1600.00 and $2500.00 depending on condition.

However, due to the closing of Charles Daly on January 29th, 2011 your gun value will only increase from year to year due to it's rarity.

Charles Daly (kbi) went out of business. They sold their inventory to Numrich (e-gunparts.com) I haven't found any of the bolt handles in stock on their website. If you have one of the semi-auto field models made by akkar, then you are in luck. Samco Global Arms will be selling the same shotgun just under a different name. They are expecting their first parts shipment for the Charles Daly guns in late March or early April. You should be able to find a bolt handle after that.

Make one, its really easy. Go to the hardware store, match up a stainless steel rod that will go through the bolt carrier( 3/16). Match the length it needs to be so it sits inside the bolt carrier, then file past that flat so that the bolt will slide forward past it, and lock it in. Cut the correct length you like and epoxie a knob on the end where you like it. works great, takes about 15 minutes to make, and wont break like the cheap cast ones that came with the gun. Numrich sells replacement parts, but has been out of the bolt handles for a year since it was a poor design to begin with.

Most go for 200.00 to 2000.00 depending on the detail work, side clips, wood grain, engraving, side lock vs box. Side locks bring more money.

Almost all of these guns are great field hunting weapons....very reliable. (the single trigger guns could fire both barrels on one pull....an easy fix for a gunsmith)

obviously u can go online on Charles daly stuff and itll help but the truth is that japan made those and the problem is the japs who did are deceased if u don't already know so we are stuck puttin pieces together about all the info on them,but the bottom line is when something like this happens you keeeeeeep the gun,you never know how much it could be worth one day just because it is a mystery on some stuff.

Charles Daly Shotguns madde by Akkar were built with cast inferior locking blocks in the bolt assembly. It is fairly common for them to break and crack.

Numrichs sells replacement parts and Samco Global Arms Inc now sells the Akkar line of shotguns, but will not fix the older Charles Daly guns.

You might be able to buy parts from them for your Charles Daly guns.

So much for the lifetime warranty that Charles Daly offered. Walmart and several local dealers where still quoting the lifetime warranty even when Charles Daly had already gone out of business.
