Is chewing gum after meals good?

As long as it is sugar free it should be fine.

Just remember chewing gum too much causes teeth to flex.

So, if you have fillings, you may end up having those fillings to leak and fail.

As a result, the rest of the teeth may get decayed over time.

Is 5 gum better than stride?

nope, 5 gum just has cool packaging and the gum is normal, but stride comes in more flavours which last much longer. substance > appearance

doesnt matter. gum is gum. but i prefer 5 since its flavour ACTUALLY lasts longer then strides. i lost flavour from stride after a good iunno 5 seconds!

Most popular chewing gum?

orbit is the best brand of chewing gum because all the flavors are good ( even Sangria and Maui Mint) (-; And flavor lasts a pretty long time. stride is also a brand that's flavor lasts a long time but the flavors are not as cool. Canel's Chicklets are bad because the flavor barely lasts 5 minutes. HAVE FUN CHEWING!!!

It's different for everyone, but a lot of people think strawberry gum is awesome. personally, I like any fruit flavor. As for the brand, 5 rocks in flavor and the amount of time it tastes good, but if you want an inexpensive but long-lasting gum, try Extra(which I'm chewing right now). You can get Extra at any store for about $1.29, while 5 is about $2.29. If you just want to chew, Juicy fruit is good too, at about $.99, but the taste is short-lived. If you want gum that tastes good, I'd try Icebreakers. They're expensive, though, about $2.99, and doesn't last long, but the flavor is wonderful. I always have gum at hand, usually Extra or 5.

Yes, I am indeed a gum expert(Well, as much as a 12 year old can be) and have been chewing it nonstop since I was old enough to chew. I have tasted nearly every brand and flavor of gum and love most of them.

Is there limestone in chewing gum?

All Wrigley gums are brushed with a rolling powder before they are encased in the foil wrappers that keep them fresh. On our sugared brands a granulated sugar, which has the appearance of confectionary sugar, is used. On our sugarfree brands a dusting of sugar substitute is used. The amount of the powder used may vary and depends on the handling of the operator. In general, our Extra® brand gums have more rolling powder brushed on them than other brands.

Why do you not swallow chewing gum instead of chewing it?

Mostly because they're told not to!

Basically your body can't break down the gum itself (though it can take up the sweeteners and flavourings). In theory if you swallowed a huge mass of gum and a load of other stuff your body can't digest then there is a tiny chance that you'll get a blockage somewher., But that would be seriously hard to do, and certainly won't be an issue if you're swallowing pieces here and there.

I think one of the main reasons that parents teach kids so militantly not so swallow gum is because they worry about kids not swallowing gum properly and choking on it as a result.

I have swallowed bubble gum and chewing gum all my life and I'm a picture of health, though for my trouble I got a huge telling off from a friend's mother at his birthday party when I was ten!

What is a cosmic bubble?

Mammatus clouds are associated with the powerful storms which can occur in the summer, and are a sign of the massive quantities of water vapour that are held in the languid summer air. Clouds in general consist of water droplets, ice crystals or a mixture of both, and the shapes of the various cloud forms are caused by a number of factors such as temperature, the ratio of water and ice, the altitude of the cloud and the windspeeds within it.

The exact forms are also governed by a complex interplay of wind, rising and falling air, and changes in humidity and density.

But while most clouds have wispy edges, mammatus lobes, which are usually stable for only a few minutes - have unusually sharp and well-defined boundaries. Each lobe can be up to a mile in diameter.

They are also nearly opaque, making them look far more tangible than a mass of droplets and ice flecks

If you move your mouth from side-to-side, when you are chewing fun, it promotes the chance of you biting your mouth.

Though if you don't, then it helps train you to keep your mouth chewing in one place. So it does help you not bite your mouth if you don't chew randomly or up-and-down.

Is sugarfree gum bad?

Dr. Ben Kim in "The Price of Chewing Gum": If you chew gum on a regular basis, please consider the following: 1. Chewing gum causes unnecessary wear and tear of the cartilage that acts as a shock absorber in your jaw joints. Once damaged, this area can create pain and discomfort for a lifetime. 2. You use eight different facial muscles to chew. Unnecessary chewing can create chronic tightness in two of these muscles, located close to your temples. This can put pressure on the nerves that supply this area of your head, contributing to chronic, intermittent headaches. 3. You have six salivary glands located throughout your mouth that are stimulated to produce and release saliva whenever you chew. Producing a steady stream of saliva for chewing gum is a waste of energy and resources that could otherwise be used for essential metabolic activities. 4. Most chewing gum is sweetened with aspartame. Long term use of aspartame has been closely linked with cancer, diabetes, neurological disorders, and birth defects. 5. If your gum isn't sweetened by aspartame, it is probably sweetened by sugar. Sugar is most likely the single greatest dietary cause of chronic health problems like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and emotional disorders. The next time you think about chewing gum, please remember the price that your body pays for it.

How do they add flavor to gum?

I do not know all of the flavors, but my favorite flavor of gum is by the Wrigly Company, the brand is "5" and the flavors name is Elixir,it tastes just like berries! The actual description of taste is a mouthwatering berry. I have not purchased it lately and other people say that it does not exist anymore,so you should check and see. If you look for reviews everybody says that it is gross and you should not buy it is a very reasonable price and for someone who is actually tasted it, I believe it is the best company, brand, and flavor of gum that you could buy.If you are wondering why I have not bought the gum in a while is because I have braces. I have had them for a whole year and they have to stay on for another full year. Please reply if I answered your question and if you like this gum.(If you have even tried it).

Can you chew tobacco before a fasting blood test?

Found this online:

First, wait for any lab testing until you are healthy. Even if you have a cold, it can affect results. Fasting tests require nothing by mouth except small amounts of water for 8 to 16 hours (call your Doctor's office to find out the number of hours he/she wants you tested at specifically). This means:

NO SMOKING

NO GUM (not even sugarless!)

NO TUMS

NO BREATH MINTS

NO TOOTHPASTE

NO COFFEE (not even black!) Also, do not EXERCISE during the fasting period. Violating these rules will affect the reliability of test results. (You can eat normally in the days before the fast.)
