What is the prognosis of MI?

I'm 39 years old and I had a heart attack 11 months ago. I was "lucky" in that there was not significant damage to my heart muscle. As far as the prognosis, it's hard to say. It seems that things could go either way. I may live to be 80 or I may die in the next few minutes. The uncertainty is difficult to live with. The main thing I've gathered from reading and talking with my doctor is that if I can avoid another event there's no reason why I can't live to be an old man. That means making drastic changes in diet. Changes that make it difficult to eat out at restaurants or even at a relatives house. Most people really don't understand that CAD is an incurable disease and that you're never really quite out of danger. You have to be careful not to do anything that might cause inflammation that could rupture plaque, causing a blockage, and a heart attack. It also means regular, vigorous exercise on most days of the week. It gets very tiresome, I can tell you. Some days, you just don't think you can face the treadmill again. It helps to have someone around to encourage and support you. An exercise partner would be ideal. I tend to exercise at home rather than outside on the streets, just in case something were to happen. I'd hate to be found dead on the sidewalk. I'm not sure this answer helps. It's difficult to be very upbeat about having heart disease at my age. It would have been a lot easier if I had been one of the lucky ones who just dies in his sleep and never knows anything.

Is The Star of Bethlehem A Christmas Carol?

NO, but it forms the central idea in at least three Christmas carols. it is alluded to in Mary"s Boy Child, and is dominant in ( The First Noel) and ( We three Kings) as the guiding star of both the Shepherds and the Wise Men. Noel has the bad theological error of suggesting the first Christmas was a white one- ( on a cold winter"s night that was so deep) Suggests, but does not actually state, snow.

Who had the Christmas number one song in 1975 and 1991 and with which song?

There's many songs that celebrate the Christmas holiday. But, unless the record chart history has changed, there's only 1 Christmas song that hit #1 on the charts.

That would be pop artist Bing Crosby, with the song "White Christmas." Bing introduced the song to the world by singing it in the movie, "Holiday Inn," back in 1942.

Now, many artists in various fields of music, including country, have release Christmas music. Many have been hits on various charts. But, I don't know of anybody that has passed Bing Crosby, in having a Christmas single to hit #1 on any chart ~ including the country charts.

Why are Poinsettias associated with Christmas?

Holly trees are found all over the world and remain green during the winter so it is perfect for decoration. The wreath of holly resembles the crown of thorns placed upon Christ's head and the red berries represent his blood. // Another reason could be: The early church banned the use of mistletoe plants in Christmas celebrations because of its pagan origins (different story). Instead, the church fathers suggested the use of holly as an appropriate substitute for Christmas greenery. Xo, Smartiiz.
