Cigarette carton prices vary from state to state and country to country. In the United States, prices can vary from $30-$70 for brand name cigarettes (like Marlboro, Camel, and other brand names). In Canada, a carton of cigarettes can cost from $70-$90 dollars. In native reserves, non-brand name cigarettes can sell for less than $20 dollars a carton.

Not that I've ever seen. Erin goes to great lengths to never be photographed when she is smoking a cigarette.

Smoking is not encouraged by the military due to its negative health effects.

You missed out ethanol (the same stuff as in a pint of beer or large glass of wine - around 16 grams of it). Unlike most of the above, which are probable or possible human carcinogens or only carcinogenic to rodents, ethanol is classified as a 'Known Human Carcinogen'. The amount of carcinogens in a pint of beer (2 units of alcohol) is equivalent to that taken in by an average smoker in around a year. So the recommended 30 units of alcohol a week for a male equates to about 15 years of smoking. (That's in terms of weight. In the more realistic terms of molar mass, it's over a lifetime of smoking.)

But then, ethanol is produced endogenously by the human body (along with at least two of the above). We're all doomed anyway!

They have been responisible for killing many peoples' lives. Including babies and kids.

I am not sure how much pall mall cigarettes are, so please think twice before buying

a packet of cigarettes. They are really harmful to your body especially the lung and

heart. The government should definitely stop selling cigarette packets in the shops.

E-cigarettes themselves cannot, but the liquid solution used by them may or may not. Nicotine has been cited to be a cause of heart disease, but a lot of doctors say it poses no significant threat to healthy individuals on it's own. Depends on how much dip you're throwing in your mouth obviously, but a cigarette typically contains 1-1.5mg of niccotine. Dip contains anywhere from 4-25mg of niccotine per gram of chewing tobacco (a can contains 34g of dip). (34g/Number of pinches per can) x (4 to 25mg of niccotine) gives a rough estimate, but yes a typicall pinch of chewing tobacco contains much more niccotine than a single cigarette.

Clove cigarettes have the same dangers as regular cigarettes because they usually contain from 60 to 70 percent tobacco.
