Matthew Perry smokes pot too.
At the beginning of each flight, Monarch states specifically that the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted.
The short and simple answer is that no one really knows yet. Electronic cigarettes are a new product, so there has not been time to study and evaluate their effects on the human body.
However, it is probably safe to say that they are substantially less harmful than traditional cigarettes. The by-products of combustion are mainly what makes cigarettes so harmful. There is no combustion with an electronic cigarette, hence, there are no harmful combustion by-products.
I would like to add that all components of the E-Liquid used in reputable E-Cig's are FDA approved for human use and consumption. The recent court case in New York resulted in the AMA & FDA putting themselves in a quandary over these chemicals.

Cigarettes are made of tobacco which comes from a plant and nicotine and it can kill you. Cigarettes have fiberglass so that it can go down your throat to your lungs and the fiber glass cuts little scratches in your gums and the nicotine flows in.
There is also oxidane, the most deadly of all.
Yes, they are legal. But health Canada does not approve of the nicotine cartridges.
Studies have found that e-cigarettes are just as harmful as tobacco cigarettes.
All they have done is replaced the harmful natural chemicals in normal cigarettes with harmful man-made chemicals in electronic cigarette, including one in particular which is carcinogenic (a substance that causes cancer) to humans.
Capitalist corporations will try to make you blind to the health risks of electronic smoking, just as they did with tobacco smoking years ago. They care more about profit than your health.
Humans are oxygen breathing creatures. Our lungs have not evolved to handle smokes, steams or vapours, which damage the extremely sensitive organs more than most people realise.
Because of the alarming amount of evidence against them, electronic cigarettes have been banned for use in some public spaces in some countries and regions, such as in Wales. Countries that have bans on cigarettes being smoked indoors have also extended the ban to include electronic-cigarettes, such as in England. Ensure you make sure electronic cigarettes are legal in your region/state or a place you plan on visiting.
There isn't really a biggest electronic cigarette company yet. There are more and more coming to the market with their own products and different starter packs but the industry is still very much in its infancy. No one company has yet to emerge as leader of the pack. All that has happened so far is more and more competition between the ever-growing number of companies who manufacture and sell electronic cigarettes. There are certain names that are emerging as favourites among e-cig users but this is probably due to the fact that many of the companies that sell e-cigs are notorious for shoddy products and bad customer service. The way most people find their way around the myriad of e-cig companies is by researching what other people who have ordered from each company have said about the product and the service. Many review sites and forums have sprung up to help prospective e-cig customers choose.
In short, yes. There is no legal reason why you cannot use electronic cigarettes in an airport as they do not contain tobacco or produce harmful second-hand smoke. However, you may be approached if your electronic cigarette looks like a traditional cigarette (ie white with orange light at the end) because people may think it is a real cigarette. Some airlines have banned electronic cigarettes from their planes because it is the easiest thing to do. They do not know enough about electronic cigarettes to make a judgement about whether they are considered safe yet, so the easy option is to protect themselves by banning them.
A starter pack (electronic cigarette, mains charger, instructions and between 4 and 10 refills depending upon supplier) will cost between GBP£19.99 and GBP£49.99. The cheaper ones tend not to be quite as realistic or reliable, I would start with a mid priced product to really see if it's for you.

Electronic cigarettes are devices that look similar to a cigarette (hence the name) and have flavored cartridges that usually contain nicotine; nicotine is the ingredient in cigarettes that makes them addictive. The nicotine and flavor is released in a vapor instead of smoke.
Electronic cigarettes are available in a variety of sizes, shapes, colors, and flavors.
12mg is a comfortable level for people who prefer nicotine. This level is also common for people who used to smoke light cigarettes.
I think its an iTaste MVP
Electronic cigarettes are not totally safe but in comparison of tobacco cigarettes it is 95% safe for the vapor as well as for others.
Electronic cigarettes are safer than the traditional cigarettes. Dangers of e cigarettes are also less. it doesn't include toxin and tobacco.

Most people start smoking as teens. Those who have friends and parents who smoke are more likely to start smoking than those who don’t. Some teens say that they just wanted to try it, or they thought it was cool to smoke.
This question solicits an opinion, and like all questions of this nature you will get different answers.
To begin, E-Cigs fall into three major categories:
1) Dime Store (or very low quality units): mostly found at convenient stores, discount stores, and some larger retailers. Avg cost 10.00 +
2) Entry level units, such as the Ego series by Joyetech, mostly found at specialty shops. Avg cost 50.00 +
3) Custom units, such as the Vamo ZMax, etc. These are only found at specialty shops and are normally large units with variable voltage, wattage, rebuildable variable resistance heads. Avg cost 100.00 +
I've only tried 2 entry level units; Blu and an NJoy; both were a waste of money and I tossed them within hours of trying them.
After that bad experience I visited a specialty shop and spent a few hours with them learning about these things. I then bought an eGo-T v2 kit with Nova tanks. The shop custom mixed my flavors to taste almost exactly like what I was smoking (and that was the last day I smoked). The eGo system is a good entry level system if you can get the shop to mix your flavor, and you want to quit smoking.
Since then I have bought a modded ZMax system (and more nova tanks). The ZMax is by far superior to the eGo units, but the price reflects this. The Vamo is for all purposes the same type of unit and works very well, but it is also expensive (to start out with).
In the end the unit is only a small part of the whole package, it is my opinion that the juice is the most important part of the setup. Everyone I know who has stopped smoking (a lot of folks) have used the eGo system, and later upgraded to these other systems. They will all tell you that the juice is everything.
The best maker of E-Cig is none other than Green Smoke Electronic Cigarette. They are world class producer of E-Cig.
No, at least not in the UK. They do not contain tobacco and you do not need a lighter or match. The smoke in them is actually legal free vapor which is not banned in public places, So you can buy them under 18 and you can smoke them in smoking places because they don't contain any restricted or illegal parts such as tobacco.
Yes. If a user ingests too much of anything (even water!), it can become toxic. However, with the nicotine amounts found in e-cigs, it would be exceedingly difficult to receive a toxic dose of nicotine, when used as directed.
There are electronic cigarettes without nicotine, namely the SMOKeFREE electronic cigarette. So in this circumstance, the answer would be no.
However, different brands do contain different levels of nicotine. With regular cigarettes the filter reduces the amount of nicotine one inhales however with electronic cigarettes the nicotine is obsorbed quickly through mouth, throat and lungs. The theory is that because you're inhaling more of nicotine without a filter - the higher volume you're receiving. Some say upwards of 300% volume of regular cigarettes.
Research is being done by many organizations interested in knowing the answer to this question - since nicotine is considered a drug by the Food Drug Administration - I'm going to assume one can take too much and result in an overdose. However, only time and research will tell.
