Kingsnakes are not venomous. At worse you could get an infection if not properly cleaned and bandaged.
The Egyptian cobra is also known as Naja haje. Hope this is what you meant =)
It depends on the invidividual snake, how long they are willing to be handled. I advise you handle your snake at least every other day, for about 30 minutes, to keep it tame and used to being handled. Personally, I hold my king snake for several hours, almost every snake. If the snake is tired of being held, you should be able to tell, as the snake will become agitated and crabby. Some may even strike/bite if they get tired of being held. Like I said, it really depends on the snake. Snakes are very different, and even snakes of the same species, coloration, gender, age, and size can have completely opposite personalities.
Snakes eat insects like ladybugs,grasshoppers.... They also eat birds and mice Basically if a snake can kill it then a snake will eat it But a snake will NOT eat any type of herbs like grass, leafs,berrys,flowers... And that is what kind of animals snakes eat !
Yes, snakes see, but some have better eyesight than others. Some snakes have special organs near their eyes that can detect infrared radiation (heat), allowing them to spot prey even at night.
For countless ages, a snake shedding its skin has been a symbol of new life. While it is difficult to interpret an entire dream from a single symbol, this dream has something to do with renewal and starting afresh.
Black Mamba Venom is the most rapid-acting venom of any snake species. It contains highly potent neurotoxins. It also contains cardiotoxins. Even a 10 to 15mg quantity of venom can be deadly to a human adult. It delivers an average of around 100 to 120 mg of venom and depending on the quantity of venom injected, it can potentially kill a human in less than 20 minutes. If bitten, neurological, respiratory and cardiovascular symptons begin within 15 mins or less. Symptions include dizziness, drowsiness, coughing and difficulty to breath. The fatality rate depends on various factors, such as the health, size, age, psychological state of the victim, the penetration of one or both fangs from the snake, amount of venom injected, location of the bite, and proximity to major blood vessels
The king cobra is America's longest, most venomous snake. They are a known symbol for snake charmers. They take shelter in snake burrows and mounds.
Yes they do. They especially drink a lot of water during shedding time to help separate the old skin from the new layer underneath. This happens about 4-6 times a year for an adult king cobra.
As with all creatures, it's born, it grows up, it dies.... that is, unless it's eaten before it grows up. Then it just dies.
The most common cobra is the Spectacled cobra Naja naja, native to the Indian subcontinent and associated with snake charming there. The Black cobra, found in Pakistan and North India , is generally considered to be a sub-species
The second most common cobra species is the Monocled cobra, Naja kaouthia, widespread in Asia.
In addition to a deadly bite, the spitting cobra can incapacitate larger would-be predators by spraying venom into their eyes . This is extremely painful and can cause permanent blindness, but if washed out promptly rarely causes permanent damage.
The king cobra is ophiophagus i.e. it feeds almost entirely on other snakes, even venomous ones, although it sometimes preys on small rodents and birds. It will only attack humans if provoked or in other extreme circumstances that threaten its survival. If not treated, a king cobra's bite can kill a person in just half an hour. King cobras may reach up to 5.2m (17.1ft) in length, making them the largest venemous snakes in the world .

A spitting cobra's reaction time is at an average of 208 milliseconds. These cobras are able to anticipate the victim's movements and sprays a stream of poison.
The most venomous snake on earth is the Belcher's Sea Snake (Hydrophis Belcheri) or the Faint Banded Sea Snake, some consider the Inland Taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus) an/or the Beaked Sea Snake (Enhydrina schistosa) to be the most toxic, however, with recent and more accurate studies 2010 prove the Belcheri has a 100 times more toxic venom then the two above or any other snake on earth.
It has a paddle-like tail, breathes air and can hold it's breath up to 8 hours, a few milligrams of venom can kill over a thousand people.
It's habitat is a wide range in the South Pacific.
Excluding the Belcher's Sea Snake the next most venomous snakes on earth according to their venom rating are:
2- Inland Tiapan (Oxyuranus Microlepidotus).
3- Common Indian Krait (Bungarus Caeruleus).
4- Philippine Cobra (Naja Philippinensis).
5- King Cobra (Ophiophagus Hanna).
6- Russell's Viper (Vipera Russellii).
7- Black Mamba (Dendroaspis Polylepis).
8- Yellow Jawed Tommygoff (Bothrops Asper).
9- Multibanded krait (Bungarus Multicinctus).
10- Tigar Snake (Notechis Scutatus).
11- Jararacussu (Bothrops Jararacussu).
Around 5 - 6 kgs
A:
The king cobra can reach a length of around 18.5ft (5.6388m) weighing over 40lbs. (18.1436kgs).
General Information
King Cobra Scientific Cassification
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Reptilia
Order: Squamata
Suborder: Serpentes
Family: Elapidae
Genus: Ophiophagus
Species: O. Hannah
The largest poisonous snake would be the King Cobra(Ophiophagus hanna), the Latin wordOphiophagus means "Snake-eater". The king cobra can reach a length of around 18.5ft (5.6388m) weighing over 40lbs. (18.1436kgs.) and lives in the Rainforest's and grasslands of Southeast Asia, India and China. Color is generally tan, olive-green or black with faint pale yellow cross bands, the females lay around 50 eggs in a constructed nest where they will guard and incubate them faithfully for 60 to 80 days, the young are called Hatchlings and about 1.5 ft. (50cm ) long at birth, the King cobra is very fast and agile with an average lifespan of about 20 years.
Although not the most toxic of poisonous snakes a king cobra can kill an elephant with one bite, the king cobra tracks by site and smell then kills it's prey by striking and injecting it with venom and swallowing it whole, it's preferred diet is mainly other venomous and non-venomous snakes but includes small reptiles, birds and amphibians as well. King Cobras are aggressive and will rear up to confront the intruder where most other cobras will slither away and hide. The only predators are the mongoose and man.
Generally a Cobra is a predator.
However, they are preyed on by rare specialist predators like Mongoose and Alpha predators like Honey Badgers.
Normally, any spitting cobra will be able to blind you by spitting their saliva in your eyes.
Absolutely, totally, completely! Never try to out "run" a Cobra! Trust me, not good!
