User Avatar
There are a few differences between Sam's Club and Walmart. Sam's Club requires their shoppers be members while Walmart does not require a membership to shop there. Sam's Club also carries bulk items that are sold directly off the pallet while Walmart does not. In short, Sam's Club is more of a warehouse while Walmart is more of a typical grocery store.

Asked in Job Interviews, Job Applications, Companies

How do you answer 'What about this job attracts you' in a job interview?

User Avatar
Start out by jotting down the needs and requirements that the employer has specified. For example, if a job requirement was 'requires resolving customer problems, and answering the phone" you could say, "Since I am a people person and love to help others, I am attracted to the level in which I will be interacting and helping others". You get the idea. Focus on something that the employer wants and turn it into a positive statement that reflects what attracts you. Consider the job position and your background before customizing these answers. Keep in mind that you should try to construct an answer that will explain who you are and why you are there. Another good idea is to add a few words about the good/positive image of the company.

Can a school bus driver get unemployment benefit in Minnesota?

User Avatar
Sorry to say, but in Minnesota as a school bus driver you can not claim unemployment like every other seasonal job. School bus drivers are lumped in with teachers even though most of the time they aren't given the option to spread their pay over 12 months. This means that many have zero income for a few months a year.

Why is outsourcing controversial?

User Avatar
Outsourcing becomes controversial because it involves complexity and risks not found in typical domestic outsourcing. These risks are cultural, political, financial, technological, managerial and legal. Ultimately, these multiple international risks show up in the process of drafting, negotiating and enforcing the contract. Freedom of contract varies according to the governing laws and attacking the legal issues requires initiatives from the beginning.
Asked in Database Programming, Companies, Microsoft Access

What do companies use queries for?

User Avatar
Using Microsoft Access as a basic example, there are four basic items in a database. Tables--hold data; Queries--sort data; Forms--enter/view data; Reports--display data. So, if we have a table with a list of people (Last Name, First Name, City, State) and we want to find all records of people from Wisconsin, we create a Query. If I want to find all people with the last name of Smith, I create a query. The table only holds the data, the form and report display data, but the query is where you (or the database programmer) gives the end user the ability to filter data. When you submit a search term to your favorite search engine, the results are a filtered query of all websites (data) available using the term you input. When you ask everybody in a room who has a birthday in June to raise a hand, you queried the people. A company can use a query of birthdays of your stored friends to send you a discount on flowers.

What are opinions on car loan elimination?

User Avatar
SCAM SCAM, they ask you for any type of personal information such as social security number, delete it. When you take out a loan on anything, it is in good faith that you will repay the loan. The bank expects this agreement to be honored. There is no such thing as a free lunch and no one is going to payy off your car loan for you. There are other alternatives to help pay off your car that are legit. Some companies will pay you money if you allow them to put their company logo's on your car to advertise their products. I had my car loan paid off in December of 2004 by a company called CLC and since then I've pulled my 3 credit reports and on each one of them it showed Chrysler credit with a zero balance and "paid as Agreed" So, personally, I don't think you are right in calling it a scam. I saved 18 months of payments. What is this company CLC and how can look them up??
