If I remember correctly, Debussy either composed in the Romantic Era or the Baroque Era. I have been looking for the correct answer, also. Sorry, at least i narrowed it down for ya. :)

Totally wrong, Debussy came in during the tail end of the Romantic Era and is responsible for the Impressionist Era. He along with Faure, Ravel and Dupark brought the "French School" into power at that time. Debussy is know as the father of Impressionism, his piece "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun" is still used today as THE score to study to truly understand the Impressionist Era.

Yes, twice, in fact. First to Rosalie Texier in 1899 who he divorced in 1904, later, in 1908 to Emma Bardac. Debussy had only one child, a daughter named Claude-Emma (Chouchou), born to Emma Bardac in 1905 and died in 1919 after being given the wrong treatment for diphtheria.

Written in the form of a singspiel, the work has inspired a ballet, films and books. Both Mozart and Schikaneder were Freemasons, and there are numerous Masonic elements in the opera. For example, the number three is very significant in Freemasonry, and Mozart uses three-part harmony in his piece, as well as a reference in the piece's overture to the three raps at the door that signify the initiation of a new member to the organization. Mozart died just two months after the opera's premiere.
