it could be that you are getting low on toner pull out the cartridge shake it side to side then installed it back if the copy improve then you need a toner cartridge.it it dont improve then.. clean the transfer corona wire located at bottom of machine were the paper goes over .you may need a flash to see the wire.its about 3 times thicker than a humans hair be careful not to break.the wire run side to side and most of the time is in a chome looking metal holder.good luck.

Opinion 1 (ID1213771002.): i have always used hewlett packard printers and other products to go along with my computer. prior to home computers, hewlett packard have always been my favorite. the printers are trouble free and on line help is always available. if have an hp 1315 and i love it. however, i would never recommend an hp computer, i have a pavillion and i am not crazy about it. my first computer was a gateway. when i need a system restore on the gateway, the system actually restored back to factory condition, hence restoring all of my necessary drives and components. on the other hand, system restore on the hp pavillion that i have travel me through the system restore and after completion there are no changes, my needed drives and components are not restored.

Opinion 2 (goombazoid): I work at Staples and from what I've seen Hewlett Packard machines are the most efficient on Ink, the 02 series uses 6 different ink cartridges and provides better print quality and ink effeciency. The Canon Pixma series printers generally provide a better photo quality than other printers but the ink costs more than HP ink (in most cases, not all). Kodak printers are newer on the market and claim to provide more prints for a cheaper cartridge, Kodak printers tend to cost more for the machine but you save money on ink in the long run. Epson printers aren't bad, they are durable but the ink is generally more expensive and you don't get as much ink in each cartridge. Brother inkjet printers generally aren't as good quality but are cheap machines especially for multifunctions, Brother is much better on laser printers. Lexmark printers are just bad overall from what I've seen, ink and printer.

I agree, my HP printer has been good and reliable and easy to use with one minor exception. Its and F300 4-in-1 and when it runs out of paper, I have to repoot my PC to restart it. My previous printer was a Lexmark and it broke down repeatedly.

Impact Printers.

The first computer printers were adaptations of existing punch card printing accounting machines or of electric typewriters. UNIVAC used a Remington Rand electric typewriter attached to a magnetic tape drive for off-line 10 cps printing. The IBM 700 series computers used a plugboard programmed IBM 407 accounting machine for on-line 100 lpm printing. Until now, there isn't any (well known) way to do it. Your cartridge should work well without the reset just try to refill before the nevel of ink is too low cuz it can damaged the cartridge and you'll have to buy a new one.

Go to the following website and download the freeware InkMonitor 2.1.2: http://www.pokluda.cz/. You have to add data about new cartridge. HP60 cartridge information = 200 pages per cartridge. This works great for me. It gives you a history of everything printed. This way you can gauge when its time to refill your cartridges. You must refill before they run out of ink or you will burn out the print heads and have to replace them.

The newer Hewlett Packard printers have included in the software that comes with their printers, a "toolbox" that includes a section called Estimated Ink Level. Its a great tool that allows you to keep track of how much ink is left in your cartridges so you don't start a big print job and get stranded out of ink in the middle of it. The only problem is that has become quite troublesome on those who wish to refill their cartridges. If you refill your cartridge or have someone else refill your cartridge, it will read as low or empty when you try to print with the cartridge. How does HP do it? They started embedding a serial number in the contact strip located on the back of the cartridge. The printer remembers that serial number and gives the message of low or out of ink. The internal memory is located in the printers firmware and is not in the software. It will remember the previous two cartridges ink level. Often in business offices you will find 4-5 people will share a printer. The printer is in a central location and everyone's computer is hooked up to it. Most people don't generate enough work to justify their own printer at work. By spreading the work of the printer among several employees, the company can buy fewer printers and still produce all the work it needs.

RAM is neither an input nor output, it is a form of data storage. An input is an external device that sends information to the computer, such as a mouse, keyboard, etc. An output is something that displays information from the computer itself, such as headphones or a monitor. RAM is neither of these things.

Take several larger pieces - or something thicker than original that is stuck - and run through through, if the printer will not allow you to run anything through it then you may have to take it apart by removing one of the rollers or something. Just remember how you took it apart.

Of course YES. All the color printers are enabled to do that. There are two ways.

1. Even when your color cartridge is full with ink (color) you can print B/W (black). This is done my selecting File>Print>Properties>Advanced>TIFF(monochrome) in windows. Other OS's I dont know. Same way when you are out of color also.

2. When your color cartridges are out of color, the advanced printers can automatically print BLACK. However, this can be done only in few advanced printers like SAMSUNG, HP LASERJET and few others.

I would recommend the first option. Because it gives the right amount of GRAY tinge to the print and it is safe and easy and also works on all occasions.

Better tell all the people that sell printers about this YES answer, most will tell you that NO they will not print in b/w when the color is gone. I hope I'm wrong about this
