A synchronous motor will develop maximum power at its' designed speed, try to slow it down and it puts out more torque. Slow it down by overload, it doesn't create more power, it just creates more heat.

An Async motor creates highest torque at stall speed, least torque as it approaches maximum speed.

Two kinds of measurement:

Operating system calculation: "e.g Windows Microsoft" 1GB = 1024 MB

Hardware manufacturing calculation: 1GB = 1000 MB

If you have multiple files on the DVD, copy it to the hard drive and fit what you can on each CD marking where you left off in the files. If it's a single file, or a DVD movie or something, it's a lot more difficult. You'll need a file splitter.

Actually the second one is the most important reason. In designing circuits that work at high clock rates, ripples will result in errors so synchronization is very very important.

'Mega' stands for the power of 6

'Giga' stands for the power of 9.

However in computer terminology the following things hold good...

Kilobyte = 1024 bytes

Megabites = (1024) (1024) bytes = 1048576 bytes

Gigabytes = (1024)(1024)(1024) bytes = 1073741824.

The Terabyte is 1024 gigabyte and the gigabyte is 1024 megabytes, therefore a Terabyte is 1024 squared megabytes, this gives 1048576 megabytes in a single terabyte.

This is not to be confused with terabit (1000000megabits)

First off, the disk must be a rewritable disk.

The second may be if the computer is not compatible with the faster memory.
