He went back to Spain and was sent to Argentina. He had too much sympathy for the natives and was sent back to Spain in disgrace.

I'm sure you mean Cabrillo; Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo. (There is a National Monument to Cabrillo on San Diego Bay in San Diego, California) Juan Cabrillo, a Spanish conquistador, landed in Mexico in 1520 and joined in the conquests of Mexico and Guatemala. He assumed command of Alvarado's exploration of the west coast of North America on Alvarado's death, discovering San Diego Bay Sept. 28, 1542, then sailed on to Northwest Cape beyond San Francisco Bay (which he did not find). Returning to winter on San Miguel Island off the Santa Barbara coast he died there January 3, 1543.

The purpose of him going to Mexico was to conquer as much land as he could and to get money/gold/silver.

Famous or infamous that is the question. Francisco Pizarro, destroyer of the Inca Empire, in his search for Gold, God and Glory. Some may say that he got his come uppence when he was assassinated in 1541, by the supporters of Diego Almagro II in Lima. He is considered a criminal in parts of Peru.

He was a "conquistador", a Spanish word meaning "conqueror". He was one of the leaders - adventurers sent by the Spanish throne in search of GOLD and power. Of course, officially his main aim was to Christianise the "poor savages" in S America. He spoiled and killed and he helped turn Spain in one of the greatest world powers of that time. I don't think the Spanish are too proud of this particular heritage.

Pizarro made three discoveries. one of them was he was the founder of lima in 1535. Another one is he discovered the new world. the last one was he discovered Peru. This is not a discoverie but he was the first person to have a veiw of the pacific ocean. Those are the discoveries that I found out about=).

First the dam spaniresd became friends with us. They taught us alot of new things like hunting and farming.. They had HORSES wich my people thought that's where the spanish got their power from. during war the Aztec wld attack the horses and not the spanierds. that's why... ohh and they had guns..

Well, if you are talking about the expedition to Florida, then he departed from Havana Harbor in Cuba.

Spain sent Pizarro, but not 100% sure why. it would most likely be for either gold, glory, god(to spread Christianity), or goods(to find and bring back new goods to Spain). it could also be a combination of those and for some other reasons.
