Last, the logger buys seedlings, and pays people to plant the new crop of trees that will grow up and become lumber or paper. Replanting of harvested timber has been required by law in the US for more than 50 years.

It has little, if any affect on the ozone in our atmosphere. The major factor for ozone thickness of the "layer" is sunlight. Without sunlight the layer thins. With sunlight hitting oxygen, we end up with ozone. This is why the only holes we see are the annual thinning areas at each pole during the end of their winter months.

we must protect endangered animals in the rainforest and the whole entire rainforest because once they are extinct they are extinct forever.it's not like people will want or need to farm in or near a rainforest but when you just simply play around and accidently step on a ant or even a flower that can harm the whole rainforest.it can harm mostly the animals because when one little things is either harmed,threatened or even extinct that totally changes the life style of the rainforest and the animals and the plants in that whole entire rainforest.KEEP WORKING ON SAVING YOUR ENVIROMENT AND PROTECTING AGAINST harmed, threatened OR EXTINCT ANIMALS.

Loss of the upper portions of the soil are most damaging to productivity as this is where most nutrients are found. Another potential hazard or erosion is the movement of soil to water bodies which may bury benthic species, retard spawning habitat, and decrease storage capacity of lakes, dams, reservoirs.

All in all, the effect of the soil from forest clear cutting depends on a variety of attributes. Some may be beneficial and some may be detrimental.

if there are less tress that means there is less oxygen so our children's children's children may not live and it also mean loosing more and more animals that live in forests and also means as we run out of tress there is going to be less and less paper from trees being produced so in conclusion they should carry on doing for every 1 tree they chop down they should plant another 2 :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
