Gallimimus lived on a coastal floodplain in North America toward the end of the Cretaceous. The floodplain was crisscrossed by rivers and dotted with swamps. There was a distinct dry and wet season. There are granite deposits from billions of years ago (which are much older than the oldest dinosaur), there are other granite deposits which were formed in the Cenozoic Period (after all of the dinosaurs were extinct), and there are also granite deposits from the Mesozoic Period (when dinosaurs were dominant). So the answer is: It can be, but is not necessarily so.

Ancient ruins do not have symbols of dinosaurs on them. Some have symbols of mythical creatures called dragons on them. It is possible that the concept of dragons developed as an attempt to explain the source of dinosaur bones known to the ancients.

Okay, let's back up a bit. Mastodons were built like elephants, whit the tusks and trunks and hair and the whole tamale. Being mammals, and not reptiles, they were barely related to the dinosaurs at all. They didn't even evolve until 64 million years after the dinosaurs went extinct.

Back to your question, they were herbivores, with teeth more built for grinding plant materials than tearing meat.

Some believe it was a natural occurring ice age.

Others say it resulted from the impact of an asteroid, comet, or meteor that released enough debris into the atmosphere to trigger a "impact winter" that blocked sunlight from reaching the ground and prevented plants needing photosynthesis from growing resulting in the starvation of dinosaurs and other creatures.

It could also have been the great flood that has been recorded all over the world and the dinosaurs never made it into Noahs ark :)
