Discharge During Pregnancy

I am about 20 week pregnant with Twins and I am burping a ton! I also have Acid Reflux. My doctor said to use Tum or Zantac to help relieve the acid and burping.

You're probably going into labor. That is the first sign.

Its not necessarily a sign however it does occur in pregnancy. Also occurs with an STD, hormonal changes many variety of reasons. It seems to me you may have a yeast infection but you do have to go to your doctor in case it is something of a more serious nature.

Yes, women have vaginal discharge during pregnancy which will increase as the pregnancy progresses.

Unfortunately sometimes these things aren't 100% effective as they are even reversable now a days. However, what you are noticing could be changing hormones and such. It oculd also be symptoms of other things happeneing in the general area that aren't desirable. You should not have a metallic smelling discharge and cramping while pregnant. Mild cramping can occur during early pregnancy, as your uterus is growing and your ligaments are adjusting.

It takes 6-12 days from the moment of conception, for the embryo to implant into the uterus. During this time, their is no HCG being excreted in your blood or urine. During implantation, you might bleed a small amount or spot as the embryo is burrowing into your lining of your uterus. After it has finished implanting, it will start to secrete HCG into your blood and urine and then can be picked up in pregnancy tests. Actually, it can be a number of things that we women go through. I am pregnant with my second child and noticed frequent urination as early as 8 weeks. Yes. Your cervical mucus will change over the course of your cycle. This has everything to do with ovulation. Try tracking your cervical mucus and it will tell you when you are ovulating, and when your period is about to start. You will find that after your period finishes, you have little cervial mucus. You will feel "dry" when you touch your vagina and any mucus you have will be white or yellowish and feel either creamy or sticky. This mucus is actually very acid and is poison to sperm, it will kill them. As you approach ovulation your mucus will change, it will become clear and very slippery - very much like raw egg whites. And there will be a lot of it. Your vagina will feel wet or damp. This is the natural lubricant for sex and the cervical mucus actually helps sperm live longer and move through the vagina. Once you start to see this mucus, you know you are about to ovulate and are "fertile". This will usually last about 2-4 days. Once ovulation is over, the mucus will once again become sticky and no longer be clear. If you count 14 days from the middle of your "clear & slippery" cycle, you will find what day your period will come on. The mucus will remain sticky right up until your period starts.
