if the 76 is a swept back 2 door and the 72 is a two door i think they can. if either one is a 4 door wont work. the rule of thumb with the a bodies is 67 -72 mant parts on the suspension and body are interchangeable. There is a book that discusses interchangeabilities between same body differant years and dii body styles and years. check with mopar performance thy will let u know I'm not home or I could give it to you myself

One camshaft, whether a small-block (273-360) or the much rarer big-block (383-440). Both used a camshaft in the block with pushrods (not overhead cam). While a somewhat old-fashioned design, I think it is still used in several performance cars (Corvette). The metal timing chain is, short and very rugged. Unlike rubber belts, it never breaks though it does wear and needs replacing for optimal performance. Some early engines had nylon cam gears that failed.

i have a 1970 dodge dart with a slant 6, 225 and need to know if a 318 out of 1970 dodge dart will mount up with the motor mounts and tranny.

you can possibly get away with a 15" rim but make sure the tire you install on the rim will fit in the wheel wells without hitting anyplace.

I don't believe it had one from the factory but you can install one yourself if you want.

try changing the ballast resistor on the firewall, porceloin block with wires running to it.

28 to 32 degrees on the dwell, if you set it at 30 you will be perfect.

1976 was the last model year of the dart in North America. I believe that the Valiant (from whence the Dart came) lasted a little longer in other markets.

try a parts store and see if they can order you one., other than that you will have to try an after market place.

Put them in place on the windshield where they should be and then press the arms onto the splines on the posts sticking out of the cowl panel.

That car should get 16 to 18 mpg.

a slant 6 is dodges in line 6 that when mounted in vehicle it was slanted head first toward passanger side of vehicle. it was a workhorse engine of 225 ci.i owned an 1983 dodge work truck that i put 387, 000 miles on befor i sold it.
