A poodle puppy opens his/her eyes at 3 weeks

All female dogs have nipples. Usually about 6 or 8. Although it does vary and can even be odd number. They aren't always obvious until they have had a season. Then they are usually more prominent.

There are sometimes a couple on the chest area that aren't very visible. All of them have them though. People who claim to have females with no nipples just can't see them as they have had them spayed before their first season.

It may be to do with their time as a Puppy, when things make an impression on them. For instance, my Dog was bought froma farm, where the farmer wasn't very kind to the pups. Now, my dog is 7 years old, but still wary of old men, with beards, due to the farmer.

Like human babys, puppies have small bladders. Approx., 10 - 20 minutes after a dog has had water or eaten they will need to go to the bathroom. They will make the odd mistake. Just shake your finger at them (don't hit them) and soak up some of urine on a piece of newspaper or, take a little of the poop and put it on the paper. Take the puppy to the paper and put the pup on it and say, "Good boy/girl." It doesn't take long if you are on top of it. I have a 3 year old Bichon Frise' and just got a terrier cockapoo X 4 months ago. All my puppies have been trained on the paper and also outside. Yes they do. Dogs can interpret our moods and emotions by smell and facial expressions. They can also be trained to react to certain word sounds such as their name, ride, biscuit, sit etc. They can only understand the words in the human language that they have been trained to. If you have a conversation with your dog about how your day went they are not going to know what you're talking about. They will be able to tell if you are happy or upset.

yes it is hard and this may take a while. if you watch Cesar millan it may help,it did for me. first you might wanna get the dog calm,taking it for a walk can help. when you are doing the trainning be calm,very calm and don't yell loud at the dog if it doesnt listen. take the leash and make the dog be by our side,pull on the leash up and say shhh stay and then walk away. when you say shh say it fast and stern. and don't pull on the leash hard,just enough so it will get it attention. so repeat the process again. say shh stay,drop the leash and walk away.don't make eye contact when you walk away. there is a different way that may be better for some dogs,so it goes like this. you bring the dog by your side,make it sit,pull the leash up,do shhhh stay,make sure the dog looks at you also. then put your hand up in the stop way and walk away. if it comes to you take it back to the spot and do it again. this helped for me,i did that and walked away,when my dog listened i made it harder. i jogged around,made weird noises without looking at him,clapped,and sat down. sitting down made him come but i did the process over again and he learned to stay! finally! hope this helped. sory its long though!

I would invest in a bark collar. These collars emit a smell, noise, or shock that startles the animal. These do not hurt the animal in any way, but they are annoying. When a dog barks, they are immediately emitted so the dog will learn soon the barking is bad.

I'm sorry that I can't answer all of your question but the not throw-uping part is normal, it usually means that he thought he needed to throw-up. It is a lot like us coughing when something goes down the wrong way. The breathing rapidly? I would think that he's just trying to get his breath back. Or it is just because he IS a puppy. It could be too, if your puppy has been playing and running it's throat became dry and needs a drink of water. Mine does that too.

With all my dogs I have introduced them to my car and my husband's truck when they were puppies. Sounds like you have an adult dog. It takes patience to get them use to the car and this is what you do: Take the pet in your car (short trip) and then drive a mile or so and take the dog for a walk and play with it by throwing a stick or ball. Make it "fun time." Do this for two weeks. This way your dog will probably beat you to the car and feel it's going for a walk. Always carry a plastic container of water in the car so your dog can have a drink after the walk/playing. Be sure NEVER to leave your dog in the car for even 5 minutes if the weather is muggy or hot out because their normal temperature range is approx. 102 degrees. It only takes seconds for your dog to get over-heated (even if you leave the windows partially down) to die from heat stroke and it's a horrible way to die. I thought I would mention this simply because you aren't use to taking your dog in your car. It's a good idea to (if the day is cool or in the evening when it's not hot) to take the dog in the car with you if you are only going to be out for a short time such as popping in to do a little grocery shopping. Remember, dogs are smart, so by getting the dog in the car and they know at the end of the ride it's "fun time" you should get your dog over it's nervousness. I agree with everything the top person said but I have some very important tips to give you if your dog is restless and is very hyper and maybe can't control himself. # Never, ever pet the dog when it is in a nervous state of mind ,because if the dog is nervous and the tail is going back and forth really, really fast he's probably very nervous and if you pet him that's just saying go ahead you're doing exactly what I want you to do.When he's not doing what you want. # If the dog needs to go to the bathroom, take him for a walk, of course you already know that, but when he's on the walk that's the time to give him positive reinforcement and always remember to be the pack leader! yes. Mine lived with a female cat and his kittens. One day a big cat from I dont know where entered our garage and started abusing the kiitens. The dog took care of him. When my cat had kittens I saw my dog putting his head into the basket and I thought he was helping cleaning the kittens. When I looked closer the dog was gently sucking milk out of the mother cat. lol.
