How do you stop a dog from urinating on porch?

Usually, when they pee in a place u don't want them to, you can gently hit them on the head, and say no, and show them where they have to pee. You have to keep on doing that, until the dog finally stops that, it takes a lot of patience! Usually, its easier to learn a puppy, than an already-grown dog. The only time most dogs will urinate on the pavement is beside a pole or fire hydrant that another dog has left it's markings on. Take the dog to a park or grassy area (clean up any doo-doo your dog makes ... you can buy the plastic tissues for this, or get a pooper-scooper from any vet store and throw the poop in a bag.) Dogs love grass and playing. If you live in an area where there is little grass and it's too dangerous for you to go to a park or don't have one near you, then you'll have to put up with it. NEVER hit your dog. If you want them to stop a bad habit get a clean spray bottle and put cold water in it. First tell the dog 'no' firmly and if they persist on doing something they shouldn't squirt them in the face with the cold water. They get the picture pretty fast.

Are there any red dogs in the world?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labrador_Retriever
Interest in the darker shades of gold and fox red were re-established by English breeders in the 1980s, and three dogs were instrumental in this change: Balrion King Frost (black, born approx. 1976) who consistently sired "very dark yellow" offspring and is credited as having "the biggest influence in the re-development of the fox red shade",[15]and his great-grandson, the likewise famous Wynfaul Tabasco (b.1986),[16]described as "the father of the modern fox red Labrador", and the only modern fox red Show Champion in the UK. Other dogs, such as Red Alert and Scrimshaw Placido Flamingo, are also credited with passing on the genes into more than one renowned bloodline.[15]

What does chocolate do to a dog's health and why?

Chocolate is toxic to dogs and can cause the dog to die. This is because dogs are very sensitive to a toxin in chocolate called theobromine. Incidentally, this is also toxic to humans, but there isn't enough in most chocolates to cause a problem for humans.

Theobromine is related to caffeine and is a stimulant. In dogs it can cause heart arrhythmias and heart palpatations, which can lead to death.

How do you remove asphalt sealer from a dog's paw?

At a hardware store, purchase any good petroleum dilate product (e.g., "Goo Gone"). Gently rub it over the dog's paw until the substance is removed. This might take a few applications depending upon how much is on the paw. Be sure to thoroughly wash the paw with soap and water when finished, because dogs lick their paws to clean them. Petroleum dilate is poisonous to both animals and humans if ingested, so you must be sure there is no residue left on the dog.

What food is best for a dog with dry skin?

What can cause your dogs lip to swell?

If it is alot of them and they are small then there is no real worry of it being a tumor, it could be multiple things if they are white then they are most likely just warts, but a very common cause of bumps is actually canine acne and usually occurs in young dogs. These are usually on the lips and chin which can be treated just as human acne with mild benzoyl peroxide. It also could be a gum disease, or to be honest if they arent draining anything or look red or white then it could be nothing.

Can you give your dog your allergy medicine?

You should only do this on the instructions of the vet. They need to tell you the proper dose for your dog. Dosage must be calculated using formulas for each medicine that is based dog size, such as on milligrams per kilogram of dog weight. Don't try to do this yourself, overdoses of allergy medicines can be serious. Contact your vet first.

You will also need your vet to examine the dog to be sure the problem is allergies and not something else that needs different treatment. Other problems can cause the same or similar symptoms, such as bordetella (kennel cough), distemper is another, etc..

3times a day (at least), of good food, until 20weeks old. After that, you can bring it down to 2.
