It it possible to take Valium (diazepam) and Ativan (lorazepam) at the same time however it is uncommon for both to be prescribed. However some doctors will prescribe Valium for continuous use, typically three times daily, and may give some Ativan to take as needed or panic attacks or insomnia.

Keep in mind that Valium is a far less more potent drug than Ativan, 0.5- 1 mg is equivalent to 10 mg of Valium.

Hi one and all, my cousin who is in her sixties has been taking Seroxat and Diazepam as prescribed by her doctor and has been doing so for a few years now as she suffers from PTSD however I don't think Seroxat is suitable for a lot of people (including myself). I was the lucky one, I refused to take the drug and slowly came off it and went onto another SSRI type drug and then I built up the courage to go cold turkey as I really did not feel any better by taking either of these. However I did take a lot of drugs in my youth and felt that I could handle the nightmares that followed and I did! I think sometimes you have to take drastic action to get the result you crave although I am not fully cured of my particular PTSD I feel a lot better knowing that I do not have to take these drugs again. So to recap my cousin seems to be ok on both of these but I personally don't think it's the be all and end all cure for any depression or PTSD problems a lot of us seem to have.

Yes, Suboxone, Prestiq, and Abilify can safely be taken together. Suboxone AKA buprenorphine is used as a maintenance medication for opiate addiction. Prestiq is an antidepressant that works differently than SSRI's. Prestiq blocks two main chemicals in the brain one of which is serotonin. Lastly, Abilify in the beginning was used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. In recent test Abilify has been shown to work very well with other antidepressants namely Prestiq.

all you need for adhd is concerta, but concerta can make you jittery and give you an all around weird jumpy feeling like as if you were smoking crack or speed. so it wont help your adhd any better but the vicodan might calm you down if you expience those effects. if its those "speedy" effects of concerta that bother you consider switching to adderall rather than methyphenidate , i have found concerta to make you more jittery and stuff than adderall . as for the safety of this mixture dont quote me on this but if you keep your does'es low you'll be fine

I just ran into this same question myself, and I believe your answer is on the bottom of this site... basically says 'Do not take theraflu with Valium or Xanax until you talk to your doctor. Combination could cause extreme drowsiness'.

Yes, both drugs can be taken together, there is no specific interaction between those 2 drugs. You might experiment more dizziness and gastrointestinal disturbing in taking both drugs.. but that's okay.

yes, you can. one is a narcotic and the other is simply a cough suppressant (which will make you rather dehydrated due to the guafennisen in it) with a sleep-aid in it called diphehydramine. you ll be super sleepy, so make sure you re not needing to perform ANY activities soon after your doses that require your FULL attention IE: drive, handle children, cooking. take the recommended dose for both when taken alone or together, and you ll be just fine. if you have any more questions, you can gain one on one answers from any pharmacist. just look up any random pharmacy, and they can answer all of your questions, even if you've never filled there.

Concerta is a stimulant treatment for children and adults who suffer from ADD/ADHD.

Concerta contains methylphenldate just like Ritalin but in a special hard capsule that delivers the first 22% of the dosage from its dissolvable coating, the remaining 72% is slowly pushed out of a lazer drilled hole in the top of the capsule in a toothpaste like form over a 10 to 12 hour period by the expanding action of an osmotic sponge in the bottom of the capsule, then the empty capsule is later expelled in your stool/poop.

The design of the hard capsule has two purposes

A- To give a stable controlled dosage over a greater period of time

B- To make the medication more difficult to abuse and increase safety.

Seriously though, I am an adult that struggles daily with ADD, I have a legitimate prescription for Concerta and take it daily to help with symptoms, my current 36mg dose has become ineffective over time and my doctor will be very reluctant to up my dosage to 54mg because of abusers looking to get high, so smarten up, you are making things more difficult for people that really need this stuff.

Guanfacine lowers blood pressure and slows your heartbeat. You wouldn't overdose from snorting it but it could end up being one hell of a shock to your system. Not recomended and it could end really badly. If you do enough i imagine your heart would slow down too much or possibly stopz

Oxycodone by itself does not reduce fever.

Many forms of oxycodone (specifically Percocet/Percodan, Vicodin, or Roxicet) contain a percentage of acetaminophen (a.k.a Tylenol), which is a pain reliever/fever reducer. Together, these two drugs work stronger and the Tylenol can reduce a fever.

Yes, these are OK. Remember that the ibuprofen is hard on the stomach. Have some food before you take it! And remember that the tranquilizer is habit-forming. Take it just as your doctor said without taking extra.
