Can you have a normal pregnancy in the womb and an ectopic pregnancy at the same time?
This kind of pregnancy is called a heterotopic pregnancy and they are very very very rare. I found out I was pregnant in March 2008 and they didn't find out I had a heterotpic pregnancy until May when I had my right tube removed after it burst.
Like I said though it is VERY rare so it's not something a normally healthy woman needs to worry about.
If you want to know the risk factors just google them. I found everything I needed to answer my questions once I knew what the pregnancy was called.
Good luck!
I just had an emergency c-section as I had a uterine and ectopic pregnancy. I was having severe shoulder pain and what I thought were braxton hicks contraction for months. I made it to 30 weeks unaware that I had an ectopic pregnancy. I had ultrasounds, blood work and all the work ups but the Dr. never saw the ectopic pregnancy. I had my fallopian tube rupture and nearly died from the blood loss. My uternie pregnancy survived at 30 weeks but the path report showed an 8-10 week ectopic pregnancy in the ruptured fallopian tube. My dr. went back and looked at the orignal ultrasound and didnt find an ectopic pregnancy at that time. So I got pregnant several months after already being pregnant. The Dr's had never seen this and said it is extremly rare and that most ruptured fallopian tubes kill the mother. Had it happened weeks earlier both myself and my little boy would have died. So, the answer is yes this can happen as I am living proof.
please go to hospital asap its not sound good plz go to hospital asap
The abnormal period is the result of the Etopic pregnancy. After a miscarriage or Etopic pregnancy your menstrual cycle may be effected for the next few periods. If your next period is unusual, see your doctor about some tests to rule out a hormonal imbalance.
If your contractions are three min. apart then you probably already are in labor especially if you are already dilated and 80% effaced. If the contractions aren't regular then you aren't in labor but if it turns out that your not then you will most likely be going into labor really soon.
i had a still born in 96 in 98 i had a ectopic and they removed my right tube. that same year i became pregnant again and had a healthy baby boy in 99. i also had another baby in 2002. in 2003 i had another ectopic there was a little damage but they saved my left tube. in 2007 i gave birth to a healthy baby girl. im trying to have another one now but having a hard time it does take longer but it does happen im living proof
If your fallopian tubes were cut and tied, there is no way you can get pregnant. If you experienced an ectopic pregnancy and did not have your tubes tied again, there is the possibility that you could again get pregnant.
yea

No. It takes a fertilized embryo to produce the trophoblastic tissue required to implant successfully into the uterine endometrium. Also, without increasing levels of HCG, the endometrium sloughs off (called "having your period), taking the unfertilized egg with it.

Is feeling bloated a sign of an ectopic pregnancy?
It can be hard to tell if you are experiencing an ectopic pregnancy because so many women don't even know they're pregnant at the time they would notice any symptoms of an ectopic. Some symptoms of tubal pregnancy such as a missed menstrual period and vaginal bleeding or spotting two weeks later are similar to the early signs of pregnancy. About 1 in 2 women who are experiencing a tubal pregnancy notice abdominal pain on one side or the other. 1 in 3 women feel light-headed and about 1 in 5 have shoulder pain on the same side as the stomach pain.
Can dull pelvic pain be an early pregnancy symptom?

How is a ventricular ectopic beat diagnosed?
Ventricular ectopic beats are easily seen on an electrocardiogram
Does an ectopic pregnancy feel like light cramping?
I don`t know about everyone, but I had intense cramping (like for 7 hours straight). I thought that it was perhaps a bladder infection or a bowel spasm. I didn`t have any red spotting until almost 2 weeks later.
Doctors will often diagnose this as a miscarriage and send you home (mine did). If are are sure that it is more intense than a miscarriage...get to an emergency room or insist on an ultrasound. This can potentially be life-threatening to you.
Why serum amylase is elevated in ectopic pregnancy?
Serum amylase may be elevated in ectopic pregnancy due to the inflammatory response and irritation of the peritoneum caused by the ruptured ectopic tissue. This inflammation can stimulate the pancreas to release more amylase, a digestive enzyme. Additionally, if there is associated hemoperitoneum, it can lead to pancreatic injury or stress, further contributing to increased amylase levels. However, elevated amylase is not specific to ectopic pregnancy and may be seen in other conditions as well.
After an ectopic pregnancy, many healthcare providers recommend waiting at least 3 to 6 months before trying to conceive again. This allows time for the body to heal physically and emotionally. Fertility can return fairly quickly after an ectopic pregnancy, but it's essential to consult your healthcare provider for personalized guidance based on your individual circumstances.
Can a fetus of an ectopic pregnancy be transplanted to the mothers uterus?
No, it needs to be surgically removed as soon as possible.
An ovary can flip when it is enlarged. This enlargement can happen during the follicle stimulation of an IVF cycle. Often the ovaries can enlarge to the size of a grapefruit. At this time, frequent leaning over, heavy lifting, and vigorous exercise (such as running up stairs or jumping) can cause the ovary to flip. If you are concerned that your ovary has flipped, it is best to meet with your Gynecologist as soon as possible to make sure that there is still blood flow allowed to the ovary.
I have taken two pregnancy tests at home. They both said that It hasn't worked. What should you do?
I am not entirely sure what you mean by "it hasn't worked" but to ensure the best results from an at-home pregnancy test:
* Take the test in the morning, if possible, because your hCG (pregnancy hormone) levels are at it's highest * Don't drink a bunch of fluids before taking the test because it will dilute your urine and can affect the results * Take the test no more than 1-2 days before expected period. Although some test say that you can see results up to 5 days before your missed period the percentage of accuracy is very low. * urinate for as long as possible on the foam like strip * wait for the results
If it was an ectopic pregnancy, you would still show positive on a pregnancy test. Do you have any other pregnancy symptoms? I would not consider pregnancy unless you feel you may be pregnant from some other sign.
