How do you wire a 12 lead motor in star delta?
This is a 3-phase, dual-voltage motor. The 12 leads represent six different windings. For the higher voltage, pairs of windings are connected in series, then the three resulting pairs are connected into a delta configuration to tie to the power source. For the lower voltage, the pairs of windings are instead connected in parallel before combining them into the delta configuration. The windings MUST be combined in the proper order AND in the correct phase for it to work. Mistakes result in great quantities of smoke being released! Each of the leads should have a label, such as T1, T2, T3, etc. It will be either an adhesive label or sometimes printed in ink right on the wire. There is no standard labeling scheme, so each manufacturer always shows the connections for each voltage on the motor nameplate. There is no real way to guess at this, if the nameplate is missing contact the manufacturer for a diagram.
When several outlets are on the same circuit the current comes first from the breaker panel to one outlet where it is connected to a duplex receptacle and/or switch or light, then to the NEXT outlet, light or switch. If a connection was not made properly at any point along the way it can corrode or somehow loose connection back to the breaker panel. If that happens, every outlet DOWNSTREAM will not be working properly. If you cannot track down the problem yourself, you will need to hire an electrician.
Formula for calculating efficiency of a power supply?
Efficiency = workout / workin * 100% how do I format this in the worksheet if the workout=KG what the work in will be?
Is the output power more than input power in a transformer?
No. By "energy", you must mean "power"?
Energy = power * time.
Anyway,
No transformer can step up energy. Even in a perfect transformer, you would only receive the energy output equal to the energy input.
There is always some loss of energy due to resistance of the windings and unwanted electrical currents induced in the core. Both convert some of the energy input into heat.
What medium guarantees immunity from emi and rfi interference?

Why buchholz relay is inclened at some angle?
The Buchholz relay is installed in an inclined position because of buoyancy. Slightly inclined so the gas bubbles will flow to the cover and then to the Buchholz relay and not stay in a pipe corner.
Megger test
On the whole megger testing is non destructive. What happens is a DC voltage is applied to the device or winding under test. It is an insulation test to see is the insulation has been injured in any way to cause a short circuit when normal power is applied to it. On my megger there are 3 ranges 300V, 750V, and 1000 volts. Applying the proper voltage is essential to not damaging the device you are testing. Working voltages up to 240 volts should use the 300 range. Working voltages up to 600 volts use the 750 volt range and working voltages above 600 use the 1000 volt range. As you can see if you used the 1000 volt range on a device that had a working voltage of say 24 volts you could damage the insulation just by testing it. So meggering a device is non destructive if you use the tester as its instructions tell you to.
You must knew there's a sinusoidal wave form for both voltage nd current. That wave form is drawn between voltage/current nd phase angle. Unity: phase angle of voltage nd current matches, irrespective of magnitude leading: phase angle of current leads voltage by an angle lagging: phase angle of voltage leads current or current lags voltage by an angle
AnswerThe terms, 'leading' and 'lagging' apply to a.c. loads. 'Leading' means that the load current leads the supply voltage, whereas 'lagging' means that the load current lags the supply voltage. 'Leading' currents occur in capacitive loads, whereas 'lagging' currents occur in inductive loads.
'Leading' and 'lagging' refers to what the current is doing, relative to the voltage, never the other way around.
Is an ammeter a device specially designed to measure current?
An ammeter is a measuring instrument used to measure the electric current in a circuit.
If you mean by that a normal home ceiling fan, No, you can't. Because it is an AC motor inside that. If you use fans using DC motors ,motors like the ones used in many toys for example or the ones used inside the earlier cassette or vcr tape drives, yes ,you can use DC.

What is the nature of speed-torque characteristics of a DC motor with Ideal no load speed?
linear with a negative slope
It could be anything, it depends on the design of the motor and whether it is a high-power or a low-power motor.
How many amps does a half horse power motor draw at 220 Volts?
to calculate:
1hp=745W
3hp=745*3=2.2Kw
assuming a 3 phase motor
power is V*I*pf*the square root of 3
I would gues a PF of 0.8 if its a resonable motor which gives about 7.2 amps per phase.
if the PF is bad say .65 it could pull up to 9 amps
in short, too little information to give you the actual answer.
Approximately what percentage of triglycerides CANNOT be converted to glucose?
Approximately 10-15% of triglycerides cannot be converted to glucose. These triglycerides are primarily stored in adipose tissue and are used for energy production through beta-oxidation in the liver, rather than being converted to glucose.
Why would it be advisable for a householder to remain connected to the national grid?
So that, as a user of electricity, he or she does not have to rely on only one local power generating station.
A National Grid is a network of electricity supply lines carrying power from various generating stations There is usually more than one supply line to most points (or grid nodes), from more than one generating station.
So, by using a National Grid, users can continue to receive power from the other power stations in the network whenever a power station or a distribution sub-station has to be taken out of service for maintenance work or when some power lines are destroyed by bad weather.
Can a Circuit breaker be used as a Switch?
Yes a circuit breaker is a switch but it should not be used as a switch. The continuous turning off and on of a breaker weakens the internal mechanism and reduces the tripping value of the breaker. There is in the marketplace breakers that are designed to be used as switches. These are usually used in large warehouses where the lights are turned on in the morning and shut off at night. Using these specifically designed breakers for switches does not wear out the tripping mechanism or reduce the tripping value.

A circuit breaker can be used as a switch, although in most cases there are less expensive switches you can use.
What is the device used to keep electrical circuits from overheating?
A fuse is a device used to keep electrical circuits from overheating is not a true statement. A fuse is used to protect the wire of the circuit from an over current being applied to the circuit. This over current could be caused by a couple of scenarios. Two non insulated conductors touching one another and creating a short circuit. Another cause could be an non insulated conductor touching adjacent grounded equipment. Whatever the cause the fuse will isolate the fault instantaneously.

What are the examples of electrical wirings in the house?
the cable sizes are...:
lighting=1mm-1.5mm
sockets-boiler controls=2.5mm
cooker=6mm
shower=10mm (can vary depending on the showers output)
earthing conductor of 10mm
earth bonding conductors of 6mm
25mm tailings (you're supply cables from the meter)
The sizes also depend on weather or not the cable is wired in old colours (i have only entered the new cable sizes)
circuits used are...:
ring main.
radial=only used if there are limited sockets being installed on a circuit.
lighting is just 1 cable going out and spreading to each light and switch (upstairs and downstairs lighting should be on a separate mcb)
cooker-1 cable going out of mcb.
shower-1 cable going out of mcb.
I hope this information helps as i don't fully understand what you are wanting to know from you're question. If you need any more help please let me know, or anyone else for that matter.
