I think normally hardstyle is faster than jumpstyle.

Hardstyle is more like hardcore trance, so it's will often have breakdowns, high-pitched supersaw lead melodies and if any female vocals - they're generally melodic.

for me, if you switch the plug to where the straight end goes into the beats and the 90 degree angle end goes into the device, works. if that fails, try the same setup but pull the cord out of the beats slightly. there may be an issue with the connection being made.

In my least-biassed opinion, Daft Punk uses voice vocoders, keyboards, and various other instruments together in ways that most music does not. They also produce various genres of music using many of the same instruments. This is what can be considered unique about Daft Punk's style of music.
