Why was Elvis Presley unique?

Elvis Presley changed music history all together. The music your hearing today wouldntve been around if it wasnt for Elvis. He paved the way for every other rock n roller after him. Through his music, stage presence, style, dances, good looks, charmer, fashion etc he became a historical popular culture icon.

Before Elvis on TV there was all boring, musicals that only appealed to the adults. Well Elvis produced music that would make you dance and for teenagers! He went out on stage, yelled, sung with sex charm and danced and performed like no other. And no other white man did that before Elvis. All of the old people we're outraged but Elvis said to hell with them im gonna do what makes me and my fans happy. And the people began starting to love and respect Elvis which influenced an enormous amount of musicians such as the rolling stone, the beatles, elton john, Michael Jackson, the who, abba, ac/dc you name it after Elvis, they were influenced by him! Which then started more artists to influence.

Elvis Presley pioneered rock n roll, he put rhythm and blues mixed with country in his own deverse style of voice which formed rock n roll and after that formed pop and metal and rap and a whole new breed of musicians and music came about. He started a musical revolution that is seen as very under-rated today. Though his image is over-rated.

Like john Lennon said "Before Elvis, there was nothing.."

So be thankful of Elvis when listening to music, cause without him, it would be a hell of alot different..

Is there any unreleased Elvis footage known?

Yes there are.

In various interviews, newspaper articles, and internet postings many in the Elvis Presley "World" state they have seen footage from individuals around the World, most of it without sound, and tried to purchase it to be used for books or videos. According to these reports, as an example, one person many have "ten minutes of Elvis onstage in 1970" without sound. However the most impressive and preplexing comprehensive collection unreleased belongs to an Elvis Presley Historian and Collector in the US named Jeff (or Jeffrey) Schrembs. Mr. Jeff (Jeffrey) Schrembs is a World renowned Elvis Presley Collector, and Elvis Presley Expert, who began collecting anything/everything Elvis related dating back to Elvis' youth. He is one of the most respected Elvis Presley Collectors in the World and has shared so much with Elvis Fans Worldwide.

For decades collectors have tried to purchase his photographic collection, stated to be at 100,000 cataloged inidivudual photos, and all have been respectfully refused. In every known statement, including those in his various Elvis Presley Websites (which are among the most respected in the World), he is adamant about being an Elvis Presley Advocate and about helping Charities and about helping Elvis Fans along with supporting the Memphis Mafia. His collection stated to be based upon years and years of efforts is "priceless" according to him and not for sale.

In a recent posting, which was quickly removed, on one of his Websites there were over thirty videos ranging from 1956 (color and without sound) to 1958 (black and white without sound) and from 1961 (black and white without sound) and from 1970 (color wihout sound) until 1971 through 1977 (color and with sound).

Each of these videos were extensive and lengthy and the quality being superb.

When reached for a response, as these were quickly removed within 30 minutes, the response took over 60 days but stated that "several of the personal footage of Elvis Presley belonging to Mr. Jeff Schrembs was accidently posted to this site during a customary upload. Mr. Schrembs, who is undergoing a severe medical condition, has issued a statement saying that (a) this was an accidential posting and (b) this footage is not for sale" regretting any speculation".

Many Elvis Presley Fans Worldwide have reported that these video footage including many full concerts that were upclose and not "jerky" with good sound. Since so many Elvis Fans told others the site crashed even though it has over 4 million visits each year. The interest in Elvis Presley remains intense to say the least.

How many songs did Gloria Estefan record?

Gloria Estefan has recorded well over 200 songs. She's released a total of 22 studio albums (I may be one off more/less), and more than a dozen of compilation albums. This also includes her 7 album "Spanish era" spanning from 1977 to 1984, then called "Miami Sound Machine", which is still her band.

Many people think MSM broke up, but, they really never did, just changed the band lineup quite a bit over the years and they are still her band, to this day! Up until 1987, she/they were just called "Miami Sound Machine". Between 1987 and the beginning of 1989, they were billed as "Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine", and then finally, for the release of her 1989 album, 'Cuts Both Ways', she was then billed as just, "Gloria Estefan". Again, to this day, MSM is STILL her backing band. ;-)

Elvis Presley was influenced by a number of artists that exceeds well into the hundreds that have been said by fellow friends and family of Elvis in his younger days. Elvis Presley album flaming star?

The western movie Flaming Star was released by 20th Century Fox in December 1960. Although Elvis Presley recorded a wonderful title song there were too few songs from this movie to produce a soundtrack album.

In 1961, in response to public requests (and to stop a bootleg version of the title song as reported in Variety Nov. 18/1960), an extended 45rpm single was released in a picture sleeve containing "Flaming Star" and a song that was deleted from the movie, "Summer Kisses Winter Tears" on side one. Two more very popular Elvis songs "Are You Lonesome Tonight" and "Its Now or Never" were on side two.

RCA released an album titled "Flaming Star" on their budget label in 1969. The album cover featured a portrait of Elvis in a western hat and outfit and contains the title song but none of the other songs on this album are from the movie soundtrack.

The album was re-released on CD in 2006.
