It should appear at the right hand corner or on the area where the clock and date is. Open it up if it's not open, it should be labeled as EN. Click on Japanese. Click 'Show Language Bar'. Just play around to figure how it works, or you can search up Microsoft IME pad. Of course, you have to know how to read and write Japanese for you to use it properly.
