What happened to Linda Cohn from ESPN?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I can't answer that definitely, but I have noticed that Linda is no longer wearing her wedding ring on the air. That could mean anything, but it could also mean that she and her husband are splitsville.

UPDATE: It would appear that the answer is yes. I just read a short article about Cohn's upcoming memoir, and the article mentions that her husband Stew is a major, "sympathetic" character in the book, and that he and Cohn are no longer together despite him being, in her words, her best friend. So she's available, guys!

Why did Dan Patrick leave ESPN?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Patrick left ESPN after 18 years, to pursue syndication. He also has a nice deal with XM radio now where he seems to have more freedom to run the show which direction he pleases without having corporate mandates or talking points.

On the first anniversary of his new radio show, he answered that question. He said he was approached by management with the strong suggestion that he gain some weight, take a" before" photo, drop the weight he gained, shoot the "after" photo, and become a NutriSystems Spokesman. He said he didn't like the idea at all, thought it might even be unhealthy, and still they pressed. He said basically that made his mind up for him.
