None of the Eisenhower dollar coins (1971-1978) made for general circulation have any silver and are worth more than face value. Only Proof and collectors coins with "S mintmarks (1971-1976) sold from the US Mint contain any silver, and that's just 40%.

yes actually..I sold mine for 2 thousand dollars at a coin auction..it is the one with no date on it that is extremely rare, and has a ring on it for the option on hanging it on a necklace..if u find one..it's best to hang on to it..cause now i want it back.

These coins were found in regular circulation until 2002 when Germany adopted the euro. As of 10/2009 sammler.com, a major German collectibles site, lists retail prices of about €1.50 (US$2.20) for ones with average wear.

If you have one that's in almost new condition, though, its value can be as much as €20 to €25 depending on its mint mark.

Three types exist:

- pattern in tin, 150,- dollars

- 1849A (7.437.237 coins struck), 75,- dollar in good condition

- 1849BB (916.369 coins struck), 200,- dollars in good condition.

Some Mints are more valuable than others, but not by much, so these coins have an average value around $20USD in Fine condition and $110USD in Extremely Fine Conditition. Uncirculated coins range in value from $220 to $280USD. The mintmark can be found on the reverse, beneath the eagle and wreath.

These coins were struck in zinc to free up more important metals for the German war machine. Many of them corroded so values depend a lot on condition as well as mint mark. Assuming the coin is in very to moderately worn condition, ranges of values would be:

"A" mint mark - $1.50 to $4.00

D - $2.75 to $8.00

F - $4.00 to $8.00

B, E - $12 to $18

G - $35 to $65

J - $80 to $160

Bills that measure 210 x 124 mm are worth about US 3.50 in average condition, while the smaller 180 x 100 mm variety retails for US 4.00 - 7.00 depending on condition.

I'm not 100% certain; but if I recall correctly there were 5 new francs to the dollar when I was a student in France in 1963. Most French people still were thinking in old francs (100-1).
