That's different for everyone. You can promote healing by massaging the area with oil. Jojoba and vitamin E oil work well. If you wanna keep it open but have work or something, you can try a retainer. Surface piercings that old usually take a while to close. But then again, I dont know how you heal and it could close up within an hour.

as it was said be sure to let it heal sufficiently. Make sure your hand are clean and dry, and that you're in an area with good light to see in case the ball falls. Grip it firmly between two fingers and twist - it might take a while depending on how tight the piercer put it on.

it's actually illegal to numb anything from the neck up for piercings, but they may spray something on the local area, that kind of numbs the area of skin slightly, they used this for all of my piercings, but I'm not sure what exactly it is.

No you don't. Most steel and titanium used for body piercings is undetectable by metal-detectors. I have 1" solid stainless surgical steel plugs in my lobes, not to mention all my other piercings, and I make it through the airport-no problem.

You simply use your tweezers to pluck out hairs that are shaggy looking, too long, or out of the area you want.

When you go to get it pierced, as your piercer to use a clear glass retainer instead of a curved barbell. Don't use plastic or any type of organic. Glass is a very good material for initial jewelry.

I have had this happen. It made a bang sound and I was lighting it so was close. I had my eyebrows and eyelashes blown off and got a bit red in the face. Other than that it wasn't much.

Usually for me it just hurts a lot worse, and sometimes it'll only rip some of the hair off instead of the whole thing.

It's all going to be heresay. If there is no evidence I wouldn't worry much about it. Also, if your shop has cameras use the surveillance as your own evidence.
