It really depends on how long after the bleeding you had the blood test. If you had the blood test within 5 days after the bleeding and it was negative then its possible you wasnt pregnant. But if you had the blood test less than 5 days after the bleeding and it was negative, then you was not pregnant. - pretty much agree with the above answer. pregnancy kits detects the HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin hormone) levels in the urine/blood. Normally, HCG is only present when a woman is pregnant. Now, if the result is positive and you are not pregnant, I think you better have your HCG level tested in the lab. Abnormal HCG levels indicate either ovarian cysts or cysts in the uterus.
