the same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. i still don't know what caused it. I'm very worried about it though. 5 home pregnancy test said positive a week later blood and urine test came back negative! i do have cysts on my ovaries but they said they could cause a false positive. i would really like to know what could!

I REALLY DONT THINK SO UNLESS ITS ONE OF THOSE 99 CENT ONES Yes you can show a nagative. This is b/c your body is changing and hcg is not detected thru urine anymore. I am sure there is a more medical term for it, but this is why I am not a Dr.. call up you OBGYN and ask them, they will be able to tell you exactly what it is called. If you are late and the pregnancy test is positive most likely you are pregnant. Take another test to be positive then call you OBGYN.

If you have an old pregnancy test over time it may change that's all. It doesnt mean that you are pregnant.

maybe it is still early for the HCG to show in the urine.After 1 missed period and 16 days.HCG in the blood will show after a missed period and 10 days.

It is possible for home tests to be inaccurate... however it's also to have pregnancy signs and not be pregnant. Therefore it's literally impossible to tell whether you're pregnant or not. However the tests are pretty accurate so things are in your favor but still not 100% because the slight chance of false negatives (maybe you have very low levels of what it's looking for because everyone's different). So look, just save all the wondering and stress and just go get a simple blood test. Then you will be 100% sure and will remember this experience so that you can prevent it and never go through this unneccissary crap again.
