What if a ferrets feces is green and sticky?

what colour green if its bright green you best get it to the vet as that's a sign of

epizootic catarrhal enteritis ("Epizootic" refers to a disease which is epidemic in animals, "catarrhal" means it's an inflammation of a mucous membrane, and "enteritis" means it affects the intestine). i had a young ferret develop this and in less than 24hr she was dead :,(

if it is a dark green i generally would not worry.

Sometime when ferrets are fed meat and bones their poo tends to change and vary.

If it continues for more than 2 days i would consider going to the vets. I tend to find with my 3 ferrets that their poops change from day to day sometimes they are dark brown other times yellow and then they can be almost black and every now and again they can go dark green. I never worry to much because I find if I have given them something out of the ordinary or some little tip bits or treats their poop will vary.

however if you are concerned it would be worthwhile going to see a vet the worst they will say is that your being a worry wart but it is better to be safe then sorry...plus if your vet love ferrets like mine does they will be so happy to see them :)
