I can't say all the car makers who use Fiat engines, but they appear in Fiat cars (of course), and some models of Suzuki, Alfa Romeo and Vauxhall. Pretty sure that some Saab models had them too. It costs huge amounts of money to develop a new engine these days, so it makes sense for the manufacturers to co-operate with each other. They then make the engines at one or perhaps two plants, and ship them around to the factories of all participating vehicle makers.
Plus VW, Porsche, Sabaru all have boxer engines.
How reliable are new Fiat cars?

Press the mirror inwards at the outer edge nearest to the indicator, in the same way you would if trying to adjust the angle to see a much wider view.
At the extreme end of the travel the mirror will pass inside two Philips screw heads that actually hold the indicator lens in place. Once removed the bulb can be replaced in the usual way.

Switch Ign on (do not start engine)
Set Odometer to read total miles.
Press Odometer Button (OB) until CFG1 appears in display
Release the OB.
Pressing the OB briefly will change between CFG1, CFG2, CFG3, CFG1
Once you have selected the CFG (see below).
Press the OB again for 5secs to store the new service frequency.
Turn off the ignition.
I selected CFG1 for my vehicle (05 Reg 2.8JTD), but you must decide yourself for your vehicle, should take 5mins to read this and carry out the resetting procedure
Note: If your vehicle is under warranty and you take it to be serviced by a Fiat dealer they will do this as part of the service.

Why does fiat palio 1.2 switch the engine off while idling and start after 10-30 minutes?

The problem can of fuel pump senser or acm. There was same problem to me in my palio 1.9D. Then many machanics tried to finfd the problem. One day we take a look on the main power controller of the car, that is ACM. We change that and the problem is fixed now.
