Is lupus and fibromyalgia the same thing?
First I need to mention they are similar and a Dr. should be consulted for a diagnosis
Each person with lupus has slightly different symptoms that can range from mild to severe and may come and go over time. However, some of the most common symptoms of lupus include painful or swollen joints (arthritis), unexplained fever, and extreme fatigue. A characteristic red skin rash (the so-called butterfly or malar rash) may appear across the nose and cheeks. Rashes may also occur on the face and ears, upper arms, shoulders, chest, and hands. Because many people with lupus are sensitive to sunlight (called photosensitivity), skin rashes often first develop or worsen after sun exposure.
* Chest pain upon deep breathing * Unusual loss of hair * Pale or purple fingers or toes from cold or stress (Raynaud's phenomenon) * Sensitivity to the sun * Swelling (edema) in legs or around eyes * Mouth ulcers * Swollen glands * Extreme fatigue Symptoms of lupus can range from mild to severe and may come and go over time. Other symptoms of lupus include chest pain, hair loss, anemia (a decrease in red blood cells), mouth ulcers, and pale or purple fingers and toes from cold and stress. Some people also experience headaches, dizziness, depression, confusion, or seizures. New symptoms may continue to appear years after the initial diagnosis, and different symptoms can occur at different times. In some people with lupus, only one system of the body, such as the skin or joints, is affected. Other people experience symptoms in many parts of their body. Just how seriously a body system is affected varies from person to person.
= Fibromyalgia Symptoms = One of the reasons fibromyalgia is not as well understood as it could be is because patients have reported such a wide variety of symptoms. However, there is some consistency, particularly with the primary symptoms.
The main or primary symptoms of fibromyalgia are:
This means pain in the muscles, ligaments and tendons, described by sufferers as stabbing and shooting; with deep muscular aches, throbs and twitching, and can pop up on any part of the body.
This means fatigue that is so pronounced that it is almost incapacitating, such that limbs feel like they have weights attached to them.
This may mean one of a number of different sleep disorders, such as alpha-EEG anomaly, sleep apnea, bruxism (grinding the teeth) or restless leg syndrome (RLS)
Other symptoms reported by those suffering from fibromyalgia include the list below. Keep in mind that symptom severity differs from person to person and not everyone with fibromyalgia will experience one, a few or all these symptoms:
Migraines and tension headaches affect about 70% of patients
Between 40 and 70% of patients suffer from constipation, diarrhea, frequent abdominal pain, abdominal gas, and nausea.
Technically called discognition, the ?Fog? is a common symptom, causing confusion, memory problems, an inability to concentrate, and more.
As many as one of every four patients suffer from TMJ, which causes severe pain in the jaw, face, and head.
Some additional symptoms, reported with less frequency, include: * Pelvic pain * Sensitivity to noise and temperature * Anxiety and depression * Skin rashes and sensitivities * Dry eyes and dry mouth * Ringing in the ears * Raynaud's Syndrome (discoloration of the fingers and/or toes)

Fibromyalgia has a whole host of symptoms and it differs from person to person. Typically, it is defined by a certain number of longstanding/recurring symptoms, and not just one or two symptoms. For persons with fibromyalgia, the symptoms must be present for an extended length of time, usually a period of months.
These symptoms can wax and wane depending on the time of day, the weather (high and low pressure systems/wind), seasons, and other factors.

Arthritis has been known to be misdiagnosed by some medical professionals as fibromyalgia. They are distinctly two different conditions and a doctor who takes a complete history and does an in depth diagnosis will be able to rule out one or another. Then a blood test can also tell the difference between many conditions or if you have several conditions. A blood test for fibromyalgia has been recently discovered and you can find the information at autoimmune technologies (the link is below). They also have posted different information of lots of conditions like arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gulf syndrome, fibromyalgia and more.

Is there any connection between CFS -- chronic fatigue syndrome -- and RSD?
Both RSD and CFS are real physical disorders. RSD's main characteristic is pain while CFS's main characteristic is debilitating exhaustion. Both seem to have connections with the central nervous system. For CFS, there is no one particular test that can diagnose the condition, so many suffer from being labled a hypochondriac or their sympotms are blamed on depression. But most CFS sufferers who are given MRI's show abnormalities, white spots, on the brain. Others are often found to have heart and blood pressure abnormalities that were not present before the onset of CFS. It is not uncommon for people with CFS to also have other disorders along with CFS and it is possible to have both.
I believe you are referring to Myofascial Release Therapy.
When you finance or lease a vehicle, your creditor holds important rights on the vehicle until you've made the last loan payment or fully paid off your lease obligation. These rights are established by the signed contract and by state law. If your payments are late or you default on your contract in any way, your creditor may have the right to repossess your car. Talking with Your Creditor
It is easier to try to prevent a vehicle repossession from taking place than to dispute it afterward. Contact your creditor when you realize you'll be late with a payment. Many creditors will work with you if they believe you'll be able to pay soon, even if slightly late. Sometimes you may be able to negotiate a delay in your payment or a revised schedule of payments. If you reach an agreement to modify your original contract, get it in writing to avoid questions later. Still, your creditor may refuse to accept late payments or make other changes in your contract and may demand that you return the car. By voluntarily agreeing to a repossession, you may reduce your creditor's expenses, which you would be responsible for paying. Remember that even if you return the car voluntarily, you're responsible for paying any deficiency on your credit or lease contract, and your creditor still may report the late payments and/or repossession on your credit report. Seizing the Car
In many states, your creditor has legal authority to seize your vehicle as soon as you default on your loan or lease. Because state laws differ, read your contract to find out what constitutes a "default." In most states, failing to make a payment on time or to meet your other contractual responsibilities are considered defaults. In some states, creditors are allowed on your property to seize your car without letting you know in advance. But creditors aren't usually allowed to "breach the peace" in connection with repossession. In some states, removing your car from a closed garage without your permission may constitute a breach of the peace. Creditors who breach the peace in seizing your car may have to pay you if they harm you or your property. A creditor usually can't keep or sell any personal property found inside. State laws also may require your creditor to use reasonable care to prevent others from removing your property from the repossessed car. If you find that your creditor can't account for articles left in your car, talk to an attorney about whether your state offers a right to compensation. Selling the Car
Once your creditor has repossessed your car, they may decide to sell it in either a public or private sale. In some states, your creditor must let you know what will happen to the car. For example, if a creditor chooses to sell the car at public auction, state law may require that the creditor tells you the date of the sale so that you can attend and participate in the bidding. If the vehicle is to be sold privately, you may have a right to know the date it will be sold. In either of these circumstances, you may be entitled to buy back the vehicle by paying the full amount you owe, plus any expenses connected with its repossession (such as storage and preparation for sale). In some states, the law allows you to reinstate your contract by paying the amount you owe, as well as repossession and related expenses (such as attorney fees). If you reclaim your car, you must make your payments on time and meet the terms of your reinstated or renegotiated contract to avoid another repossession. The creditor must sell a repossessed car in a "commercially reasonable manner" - according to standard custom in a particular business or an established market. The sale price might not be the highest possible price - or even what you may consider a good price. But a sale price far below fair market value may indicate that the sale was not commercially reasonable. Paying the Deficiency
A deficiency is any amount you still owe on your contract after your creditor sells the vehicle and applies the amount received to your unpaid obligation. For example, if you owe $2,500 on the car and your creditor sells the car for $1,500, the deficiency is $1,000 plus any other fees you owe under the contract, such as those related to the repossession and early termination of your lease or early payoff of your financing. In most states, a creditor who has followed the proper procedures for repossession and sale is allowed to sue you for a deficiency judgment to collect the remaining amount owed on your credit or lease contract. Depending on your state's law and other factors, if you are sued for a deficiency judgment, you should be notified of the date of the court hearing. This may be your only opportunity to present any legal defense. If your creditor breached the peace when seizing the vehicle or failed to sell the car in a commercially reasonable manner, you may have a legal defense against a deficiency judgment. An attorney will be able to tell you whether you have grounds to contest a deficiency judgment.

Can cholinesterase inhibitors help chronic fatigue syndrome or fibromyalgia?
From what I've read in an article in the Developing Healthy Habits newsletter, inhibiting cholinesterase will increase your symptoms, because cholinesterase is what makes your muscles flexible. Fruits and vegetables in the nightshade family contain Solanine, which is a powerful cholinesterase inhibitor, which will interfere with muscle movement. Nightshades include tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, blueberries, peppers and tobacco products.
