Seeing as it is a disobedient teenager, the easiest first way to introduce this to the story is to start it off with an argument, Eg: The teenagers mother/father having an argument with the teenager, now depending on the age of the teenager, it depends on what the argument is about, if it is a preteen the argument could be about something at school like not showing up at a detention, that sort of thing, if the teenager is around 14-18, it would realistically most likely be about the teenager coming home late from a party or something like that, but how the argument starts and ends is up to you.
