NO, both have there individual pros and cons. Super hornet is very mature and still evolving platform. Its has most of the weapons which the top American fighter have but only drawback is that its a slow platform basically made for navy requirement whereas Eurofighter is new platform that is still maturing. As a platform it is more robust and agile than F-18 but the maturity of its weapons, AESA radar and electronics doesn't equal to F-18.

There is a lever inside the cockpit which allows the pilot to fold the wings to minimze the footprint of the aircraft when parked on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier.

Mig-31 is faster then the f-22. The f-22 is not the fastest plane, its mach 2.25 compared to mach 3.1 of the mig-31. The f-22 is just expensive. I don't personaly like this plane. I like PAK FA, or SU-35BM way better because of maneavarability

and speed, heavy weapon load and modern electronics.

Among today's operational fighters, I would believe the F-15 holds the most fuel.

Now the fastest jet is owned my NASA and is called X-43A.

it can reach the TEN TIMES THE SPEED OF SOUND. souring at above 33,223metres above earth. apparently, since it reaches 10 times the speed of sound, it's wings are tiny. it's nickname is the hyperjet. it's the next step to being opperated fastest in space.

At the heart of the X-43 is the scramjet or Supersonic Combustion Ramjet. You can think of it as an upgraded version of the ramjet - the kind of engine used by the SR-71. The Supersonic Combustion Ramjet basically takes in oxygen, which is needed for combustion, directly from the atmosphere. In order to create thrust, rockets mix liquid oxygen with liquid fuel. this makes this jet soo fuel efficient compared to others.

To give you an idea how fast the fastest jet in the world is, compared to others, imagine this: there are more than 30 jets that are faster than the speed of sound and yet almost all of them have top speeds either way below or only near Mach 3. Mach 9.6 is definitely way way faster than that.

Yes, the F-35 is alot better than the harrier jet. Both aircraft can do a vertical take off and landing but at this point, in the dog fight. The F-35 would get the harrier jet outgunned because the F-35 is much faster and more deadlier than the harrier jet. In dog fights only for harrier jets vs JSF(the F-35 stealth lightning) the F-35 would probably win the fight against the harrier jet. The Harriet jet does not have stealth capability like the F-35 JSF(joint strike fighter jet). The F-35 have stealth capability. The harrier jet travels at transonic speed while the F-35 JSF can travel at supersonic speed. The harrier jet can travel up 689 miles per hour but the F-35 can travel at 1,850 miles per hour faster than the harrier. The harrier jet carries bombs, missiles and even machine guns. Same thing with the F-35. The F-35 also carries bombs, missiles and machine guns so the stealthiness isn't compramised just to keep the F-35 invisible to the harrier jet's radar. The F-35 can see the harrier jet by detect the plane and also, it uses better aiming than other planes. At this point, the F-35 is the winner.

External fuel on three hard points can handle up to 3 x 600 US gallons of fuel plus F-15C and E's carry that with what are called conformal tanks. They hold 750 US gallons of fuel.

So, say a F-15C on a long transfer trip to the middle east will carry, 1979 gallons with three hard points drop tanks with a total fuel of 3779 gallons of fuel
