What is the best First aid for a ground bee sting?
For any bee sting the most important thing to do first is to remove the sting if it has been left behind because it can continue to inject venom for a minute or more after the bee has gone. Do not use tweezers or grip the sting between finger and thumb because if you do so you risk squeezing more venom into the wound. Scrape the sting out using your thumbnail or something like the back of a knife or the edge of a credit card.
A piriton or similar anti-histamine tablet will help reduce swelling, and if the sting is painful a paracetamol tablet may help. An ice compress can also be used on the sting site.
For the biggest majority of people a bee sting is just a painful nuisance, but a very few people are hypersensitive to bee venom and can react more strongly. If a person feels dizzy or nauseous he should sit down and rest until the feeling passes. In an extreme case the victim may go into anaphylactic shock where blood pressure drops dramatically and tissues in the throat swell making breathing difficult. In this case medical help is very urgentlyrequired.
the only thing wrong with this is ...... everything not just one thing everuything so weird i do not like this
Leave the object in place and immobilize it if possible, along with the area around the wound. Avoid abrupt impacts or movements (such as driving on a bumpy road). Go to a hospital or surgical clinic. Before the object is removed, the doctors may check to see if removing the object will cause complications or damage to a major blood vessel. There may be hidden internal injuries.
In any event, the object will have to be removed within a day or so to avoid internal infections. If done in the field, cauterization may be required to stop bleeding from entry and exit wounds -- if using appropriate antibiotics, the wound may be allow to drain once the object is removed.

How long does it take to heal a thigh muscle?
Depends on what's been injured in the thigh. A minor bruise should heal quickly as there's a lot of blood flow to the thigh. A deep contusion or bruise on the muscle may take as much as a month to 6 weeks, if it's large and deep enough -- large muscle invovled. If the bone is bruised -- longer. The femur can take a lot of damage without breaking, but that damage would still have to heal. Connective tissue -- depends on the injury and how well you treat it (which would typically include physical therapy). Cuts, surgical incisions, etc. should heal comparatively quickly, again because of the blood flow.

How painful would 6 fractured ribs be?
Very painful. Seven fractured ribs in nine places was an experience wished not to have. You have trouble breathing without pain. Do not even laugh, it hurts so bad. There is nothing that can really be done for fractured ribs, so they take a lot of time to heal. The ribs are in an area that protect vital and sensitive organs. As stated above the lungs are one such area that the ribs protect. The ribs being broken alone can cause a great deal of pain but there is always the question of whether anything had been bruised or if there was any damage to any of the areas that the ribs protect. This would of course cause even further pain to exist.
Can you have a chance of HIV when you were stuck by needle on roadside?
Yes, this is possible. Because needles are used to pierce the skin, they will come in contact with someone (possibly an HIV infected person) else's blood. Then if you stick yourself with that needle, it will in turn come into contact with your own blood. This mixing of blood will contaminate the clean blood and you will become infected with the disease. To put your mind at ease and for your own health and safety, it would be wise to go to your doctor and request an HIV test.
What does a chigger bite look like?
Chigger bites look like tiny red dots in an infllamed field of welts. Perhaps as many as 6 or so per sq. centimeter. They itch like crazy. Chiggers are the larval form of an arachnid that, once mature, eats only vegetation. This larval phase eats only once from humans, over a period of about 4-5 hours, and then drops off and encapsulates to form the mature form of the animal. Normally, they'd prefer a bird as a host (on which they don't itch). Contrary to folklore, the chigger is NOT burrowed in under your skin. Chiggers are bright red, but are about the size of this period (.), so they are almost never noticed on the skin. What's happened is the chigger has bitten you and, over the last 4-5 hours, has ingected enzymes to disolve your epidermal cells. As the cells liquify, the chigger sucks them out as if with a straw. After a while, your body detects this attack, and causes the cells surrounding the cavity to solidify, making a hard, tube-like structure. THIS is what is itching. After a while, your own body will break down the tube and all will be well. Chigger bites take approximately 10 days to heal. You can icepack the area, or try benzocaine or other numbing ointments, but the truth is you'll mostly have to suffer while your body fixes the problem. Try hard not to scratch. Don't waste your time using folk remedies like placing nail polish over the red spots. It only complicates matters. In the future, chiggers can be washed off before they burrow simply by taking a thorough shower.
First aid management for large wound with glass embedded in the wound?
Make sure you are up to date on your Tetanus shot.
Major Wounds
Apply constant pressure to a severely bleeding wound using a sterile dressing (if possible). Call 9-1-1. Until professional help arrives, hold a constant pressure on the wound for at least twenty minutes. Do not press directly on the wound if there is a foreign object in the wound, such as glass, but apply pressure along the wound area. Do not move the affected limb if you suspect any broken bones or dislocations. With a splint (if possible) immobilize the affected area. As soon as possible, dress the wound with a sterile non-sticking material and stay with the victim until professional help arrives.

How long to heal the ischium fracture?
I recently sustained a pelvic fracture to my right ischium. I was told it is a non-displaced fracture and that I am looking at a 6-8 week recovery time. This happened a week ago and I have spent the majority of the past week in bed and when I am up, I have been using crutches so that I am not putting weight on my pelvis. I have also been taking Oxycodone and Hydrocodone with the pain around the clock for the past week.
