How do you set up a Yamaha PSR-E233 keyboard with FL Studio 10?
plug it into your computer with the midi cable and then go into fl and refresh midi devices and then it should work :)
How do you open the Fruity dB Meter on fl studio?
You can add the Fruity dB Meter into one of your effects slots. Once loaded, it can be reopened by left-clicking that slot again at any time. Note that this doesn't do anything but look cool.
The playlist window is the area you slot the different patterns you've created to make a complete song. It is also where you place the effect controls as they change through the song if you didn't use them in the patterns themselves.
What was FLStudio formerly known as?

Can you use fl studio with casio ctk 2100 keyboard to produce trance music?
FL Studio will accept almost any midi controller surface if it is supported by your system as such. You may need driver software, but FL can use generic surfaces to have your keyboard as a controller, you only need to assign the keys and controls to what you want them to do in FL.
Writing trance music is another issue... generally, trance, techno and electronic music does not need a person to actually play an instrument in real time, it is often inserted into a song in step time. If you have a sound in mind, then you can probably have FL play to your midi device, though I don't see the point of this since you may be able to find an emulated CTK-2100 plugin with everything you need and use FL as the composition workstation for the plugin sounds.
If this CTK-2100 is a small digital audio workstation (DAW) in itself, then it is rather pointless to have FL Studio as the external DAW to send data to the keyboard. You may as well use a lawn mower to jump-start a jumbo jet. FL Studio is a fantastic program to create unique trance music right out of the box, but if you are a good keyboard player and you would rather play in real time, then your Casio will be a great control surface to use FL's built-in features.
Can you open FL Studio VST's in other programs like LMMS?
Yes, if LMMS supports VST, VSTi and DX plugins, but not necessarily plugins used uniquely by FL Studio.

Edit by Sonika69: Get Massive by Native Instruments. It's $200, but all the way worth it. It's used by alla the wonky brosteppers like Skrillex, for the bass sounds
Where can you get Quadrafuzz and how can you get it to work with FL Studio 10?
Steinberg's Quadrafuzz plugin is discontinued and no longer available. If you can find an old copy of it, installing it in to the system would allow you to use it as a VST plugin inside FL Studio automatically.
I know that Answers.com will answer questions at the best of times, but when you ask a question like how do you use a complex plugin based music and digital audio workstation software, you will be directed to where you can find all the documentation on every aspect of such a program.
Here is my response... go to the FL Studio website at Image Line, Google FL Studio tutorials or download the demo and read the online manual that explains how to use everything. In short, RTFM. Google that too.
How can you transfer midi tracks from Audacity to fl studios without exporting?
Audacity can be used to convert a MIDI track to an audio file, therefore eliminating any editable MIDI data. You can simply keep the MIDI file and open it directly in FL Studio and edit any property of the MIDI, including exchange them for better sounding synthesizers and real audio samplers. FL is, after all, a digital audio workstation specifically designed for sequenced music. Loading a MIDI file will split the tracks for you and you can export any one of them individually as a MIDI or audio file.
Which is better FL Studio or protools?
That question is difficult to answer. If you a band looking to record your next album, you would probably use ProTools (or Cubase, or Logic, or Digital Performer, or Sonar). If you are a DJ-style beat composer, you would use Fruity Loops (or Reason, or Ableton Live).
They are very different programs for different types of composers.
How do you use Auto-Tune in FL Studio?
If you are referring to Antares Auto-Tune, then it is a matter of getting Antares to "learn" the notes and scales on an instrument playing them. Once Antares learns the scales, you can then remove the instrument, keeping the Antares plugin active in the mixer and assign your vocal track to that mixer channel.
If you like, you can use the Antares basic automated features to decide what scales and notes are needed or not so that any sound playing will tune automatically. This is not perfect, but it does the job closely enough as long as the sound being auto-tuned is not so very out of tune. There needs to be at least some note holding ability. It won't make someone tone deaf sound good, it will only finely tune vocals that are only just out of tune.
How do you assign specific notes to different pads on Akai MPD24 using FL Studio 9?
Page 14 of the MPD24 manual has all the steps and images to show you how to set up the note that each pad on the MPD24 sends.
How do you change the time signiture in fruity loops?
Go to Options > General Settings
In that screen click 'Project' on the very bottom left.
You'll see a box with the tag 'Time division' which will allow you to set the Steps per beat and Beats per bar in the project. By default it's on 4/4, but if you adjust the 'Beats per bar' box to 3, the time division throughout the entire project will help you to stay in 3/4 time. Another example is if you set the Beats per bar to 6 and the Steps ber beat to 8 then your project will be in 6/8 time.
You cannot convert a mp3 file into a flp file. But maybe in your fruityloops project, you can import a mp3. If not, convert the mp3 into a .wav file. I haven't used Floops in years, I use Cubase now. Try inporting the audio file. Let me know if that helped.

How do i stop a loop playin in fl studio 8?
Either you did not set the loop marker in the song editor or you are playing in pattern mode. In either instance, pressing the stop button in the playback panel or tapping the space bar will stop playback. If you place the loop marker at the end of the song editor, FL Studio will see no more patterns to play ahead to and will automatically stop at that point (rather, the song will stop and the cursor/play head will return to the start position). If there are more patterns after the loop marker, FL Studio will return to that position and loop after the last pattern.
