Freezing and Drying Food

It's the wrapping on the package. Most meats you buy in a grocery store are not wrapped with plastic suitable for long periods of freezing.

I think if you keep your hand long enough in a freezer it can get frost bite, but no. You can not get freezer burn from touching a freezer. That requires a long peorid of time.

With my years of using freezers...the amber light goes off when temperature is at the required level. Test it by opening freezer, allow cold air to escape, close door and amber light should come on. When its at correct temperature it will go off...good luck
