Does anyone have information on Peedee fruit kids made in the early 40's?

These chalkware figurines were distributed by the Pitman-Dreitzer Company of New York. There are 6 different fruit figures. I believe there are apple, banana, cherry, pineapple, lemon, and strawberry kids. I have also seen that these were made by the Carlton Ware company.

What does Haru do to Akito after Rin goes to the hospital fruits basket?

It doesn't show what Haru does, but he probably yells at Akito (I'm not sure if Haru would hit Akito or not...but maybe) but it doesn't really show. Haru was definetly mad though

Which chapters of Fruits Basket made you cry?

Personally, the one with Momiji's situation explained, Hatori's failed relationship with Kana. Mayuko's secret love for Hatori, Uotani's seemingly hopeless love for Kureno, Kyoko and Katsuya's story (Tohru's mom and dad), Akito releasing the rest of the zodiacs from the curse...

From those, Kyoko and Katsuya's story is the one that touched me the most, for some reason...

sorry, can't be specific about the chapters since it's been ages since I've read this....

Yuki's story in volume 15 was sad because I love Yuki (I'm in love with a fictional character, yeah...) and I was sad that he had such a messed up childhood. His parents gave him to Akito as his playmate, and Akito mentally tortured him. It was so sad.

I cried harder when I read Kyoko and Katsuya's story in 16. It was hard for me to read when I knew they'd both die. I was kind of hoping beyond hope that somehow the story would change and they'd live. No such luck.

Momiji's story made me cry too. Poor, poor, poor Momiji. T_T

Those were the saddest for me.

(I have to say it- I LOVE YUKI SOHMA!)

Why did Akito stab Tohru?

To be honest, I'm not sure if Akito stabbed Tohru because where the anime left off, it didn't show but most likely she wouldn't be stabbed because main character but if she doesn't it means that she either helped Akito like how she did with Isuzu or another soma will be there like Shigure, Momiji, Hatori and Hatsuharu but I can tell you Kureno will not be there because he got stabbed by Akito.

And if you try to back track with the manga, I'm sorry but the story line will not match.

In fruits basket is haru gay?

Hatsuharu is NOT gay! In episode 10, he is talking to Tohru, about how his entire family called him foolish, for letting the mouse ride his back, which made Hatsuharu not love them, and extremely angry (this also made "Black Haru"). But when Haru was a child, he met Yuki. When he said that he wasn't foolish to Yuki, he believed. Hatsuharu said "Yuki was my first love," meaning as a family member. (Oh and by the way, I'm in love with Hatsuharu. I don't think I would be if he was gay!)

This is a misunderstanding about Hatsuharu that many people get confused about. I really hope this all goes away. (I honestly thought it was pretty obvious that he wasn't gay, based on the fact that right before he said that line, he was talking about his family.)

Oh, and this may/may not help, but just for more support on this, the entire line of that is

"Yuki was my first love. No offense to Kyo, it's just I like Yuki better."

I don't think he'd say that in a gay way. Do you?

(I talked really proper and stuff in this XD)

PLEASE, DON'T BE A HATER! DON'T REMOVE MY ANSWER!

This is the truth, though. HE'S NOT GAY!

Why didn't they make a second series to Fruits Basket?

Firstly the anime, fruit basket, most of the voice actors came out of being retired to help out. After that one season though they went back into retirement.

They also changed up a lot of things in the last episode that never actually happened in the manga, in which the anime is supposed to follow the manga.

I suggest reading the manga, if you have not yet, because its a whole lot better and it goes longer. Start from volume 1, and theres 23 volumes. What happens in Episode 26 was in the beginning of Volume 6, but don't start there, there was a lot of things that the anime changed up from the earlier volumes. It does suck though that there won't be a second season :/

Why does the Fruits Basket anime stop only after a couple of episodes but the manga goes on?

At the time the anime series was made, the Fruits Basketmanga was still ongoing and not nearly as long as it ended up being; thus, they could not adapt the full series as they did not have a full series to work with. Furthermore the animation production company that handled the Fruits Basket anime, Studio DEEN, have a tendency to only adapt the initial stages of manga series, sometimes continuing in sequel seasons; such is the case with Vampire Knight and Junjou Romantica. This could be for any number of reasons, including the cancellation of sequels due to lack of interest or profit. However, this is only speculation.

Did Akito abuse Yuki?

Based on the memories we've seen in the manga from Yuki's childhood, Akito emotionally abused Yuki.

He would tell Yuki that he was worthless, no one appreciated him, and the other zodiac members blame him for their lives being miserable just because he exists.

These scars stay with Yuki throughout his life and thus make him feel poorly about himself sometimes.

He also locked Yuki in a dark room and whispered these things to him, so he basically tried to brainwash him into thinking these things. You can also see Akito whipping Yuki, while telling him this.
