You can do extra GCSE's by asking the teacher, whose subject you are interested in, if they can run sessions after school, therefore allowing you to get extra GCSE's whilst still in school. Also GCSE's can be taken in College.

Most jobs ask for English, Maths and Science. To be a baker, Food Technology would be very useful.

yes you can, most sixth forms/colleges have a minimum entry requirement such as 5 C's at GCSE and then further requirement for each subject such as a minimum grade C at GCSE to study A level sociology.

As long as you achieve the required grades to get into sixth form, you can do A-levels with foundation level GCSE's.

you dont need gcse so it doesnt really matter what you really need is a good grade in biology when you do your A levels

There is a small difference between them. They are both mainly practical courses however the performing arts: acting is usually a BTEC course.

If you wanted to go on to colege and study drama, then take the Performing arts course at it will help you more in the course

I think you need Maths, English and science. It would be good to have a creative subject such as art or music. Also speaking a different language would also benefit example: French or Spanish. Primary schools are also Hi tech so ICT would help a lot ! hope i helped

Well i am in year 8 and I'm preparing for earlier GCSE's which i will take this year and in my practice exams i got 2 A's and i am certain that it is 72% and A* is 87% for the higher tier but you can not acquire an A in Foundation Gcse

well to do photography in most colleges you need a minimum of 5 GCSE's, but in a few others you may not.

They aren't kept on record anywhere, you keep the certificates and use them when getting a job, applying for college/university etc...

My sons will be studying for the Scottish Standard Grades (in the state system), but at age 16 I want them to go to Harrow School in England (private) and one of their entry requirements are for eight top grades at GCSE (or their equivalent). What would the equivalent be.???? Is it still 8 GCSE = 8 Standard Grades (but at the credit level)..??

On google, search GCSE Whatever and then the exam board, which is usually either: AQA, Edexcel or OCR.

In the main, universities would be looking for a top GCSE (and subsequent A-level) in English - both literature and language - as well as other "traditional" subjects, including maths, economics and history... depending on what subjects you like and are good at. If I can recommend a single piece of advice though, it would be: do NOT take GCSE/A-level Law. Top Universities will throw this in the bin. Choose "worthier" subjects.
