Although he temporarily loses his memory, he eventually regains it and he marries Melinda again and raises Aiden as their son.

CBS canceled Ghost Whisperer unfortunately! I don't know if you found this out yet or not. I have found that Netflix has all the seasons available to rent and view. Also on ION Television they show reruns from 2-5 central time. If you have Dish Network it is on Channel 216. I so wish they would have continued the show!!

Sam is a man who died, he immediatly crossed over into the light, and Jim (Mel's husband) who had died either the episode before, or the episode before that put himself into Sam's body so he could be with Melinda again but it backfired because when he entered Sam's body he forgot who Jim was and had no memory of him except flash-backs of his death and Jim's medical skills.

In ghost whisperer, Melinda's brother is Gabriel Lawrence, played by Ignacio Serricchio, he is only her half brother though, on Melinda's father's side (later discovered to be only her Step Brother). Gabriel can also see ghosts.

Because Sam died and immediatly crossed over, Jim (Melinda's husbad) had died also and Jim was trying to stay with Mel. As Sam died Jim entered Sam's body, Melinda saw and told her friends (apart from him) that Jim was now Sam.

Jim never got back into his own body. he went into Sam Lucas's body. The reason you see him as Jim, is (story-wise) because that is how melinda sees him. but really, it's because the man that plays Jim plays a main character and it would be all too drastic if they cut him off and replaced him. And the viewers would get frusterated seeing Melinda with another man.

I believe they were inspired from Maggie Taylor's paintings. They look slightly different from the originals but it might just be the animation.

Yeah well your watching parts of season 4 and then going to season 5. well Jim died and went into this guy name sam. Now when Jim went into sam body he couldn't remember anything cuz of the accident. but throughout season 4 he starts to remember things but things about melinda and then in a episode called the leap of faith . Jim remebers and doesnt even remember going into someone elses body. wel then in the next episode melinda finds out she is pregant wif jims baby not sam! this was before Jim died. so that's pretty much how it goes n then in season 5 there son is born..i no confusing...but i hope it helps!
