try just normal elmers glue, if that doesnt work super glue will do it.

I've done this with 100% silicon from a caulk tube. -To help the joint, I also 'riveted' it with grommets every 4 feet so I could put rope through. -It hasn't come apart in 3 years use.

Obviously it's harmful if you ingest it, other than that it's not harmful.

The best for those materials would be PL Premium or LePage Extreme, both available in small tube or caulk tube.

You use acrylic cement . Thee are many available, but usually in plastics supply store. Look fir Weld On # 3 or # 4.

Directions for Bonding Polyethylene using a poly-bonder.

Flame Treat:

1. Fit a propane torch with a flame spreader.

2. Following the operating cautions of the propane torch, ignite the flame.

3. Observe the flame in a darkened room, noting the primary (bright blue) and secondary (faint yellow) portions of the flame.

4. Adjust the flame so that the primary flame is contained within the spreader, and the secondary flame is 1-1/2" beyond the spreader.

5. Treat the polyethylene to be bonded with the tip of the secondary flame by passing it over the polyethylene in 5 gentle strokes. Total exposure to the flame should be 2-3 seconds (.5 seconds per stroke). This light exposure should not deform or melt the polyethylene in any way.

6. Test the polyethylene for bond readiness by wetting it with water. If the water runs off immediately, the treatment was not effective. If the water sheets-up on the surface, the surface is ready for bonding. If unsure, compare the water's action on the treated area with an untreated area.

7. Bond joints within 1 hour after treating. Always prepare test bonds to be certain that flame treating is effective with your material. By using the method for preparing a glue joint of Polyehtylene as described below, it has been established through shear testing by the manufacturer that structural bonds nearly exceeding the strength of the polyethylene can be achieved. Those bonds registered 1,950 Psi in lap shear testing of HDPE.

To achieve similar results, be sure to follow the next three steps:

1. Leave room for the glue. Don't squeeze all of the glue out of the joint when clamping, if you do, the bond will fail. Instead, cut small bits of fishing line and drop them into the glue before clamping.

2. Clean and roughen the parts. Rough parts hold much more glue and form mini-shear joints. Always apply glue to bond pieces to be bonded to properly wet the surfaces.

3. Mix the glue thoroughly. This glue appears to be mixed almost instantly, but requires at least two minutes of mixing.

The only way that really works is to immerse them in water for at least a day, then you should be able to pry them apart.

I am trying to make putty so what I did was put a quarter of water (2 oz.) mixed with half a cup of baby powder ( 4 oz.) and put a little bit of laundry detergent and if you want put a little bit of food coloring in there to make it look unique. Right now mine is sitting in the refrigerator to harden. But if you just want to make slime do everything except adding laundry detergent and putting it in the refrigerator. I wish you good luck!!

Goo Gone will clean most residues off most materials. If it does not do it then Goof Off almost certainly will.

With a polycarbonate glue. Try Weld On # 3 or #16.

Superglue is a cyanoacrylate adhesive. CA id an anarobic adhesive and will not bond in the presence of oxygen. It has simply dried on the top. If you cannot simply scrape it off with your fingernail you can use a razor blade. Use light strokes and it will peel off the top.

Adhesive for attaching PVC u to Nylon: "Amazing GOOP Marine" Eclectic Products Inc. Pineville Lousiana. Available in some marine hardware stores in USA. Note: Apply and let dry thoroughly (24 or more hours). There are some variations in the formulation of nylon and of PVC and GOOP may not be successful with all of them. I was able to securely attach a nylon mesh to pvc water-pipe. I have not tested the adhesive junction at low temperature and have no idea what the effects of freezing might be. Ditto temperature above 40C.

Wet it with hot water and use a nail brush to scrub it.

Take a handful of the straws, spread them apart at the top, and let the egg sit in between them all, keep them together by attaching the rubberband around the straws and egg under the egg. i haven't done it yet but I'm going to etch the surface with coarse sandpaper and then apply contact glue to both sides making sure the two sides have vulcanized(alcohol desipates away) then be sure that the two surfaces are where they will forever reside and bond them together. then use a small hand-held roller for removing the air bubbles. sheet should be over the actual size needed and then final trimming is to be done with a router bit that has a cased bearing which will not fray or splinter your edge. making a perfect edge for your choice of facia(front finished trim). which covers your substrate (plywood or particleboard)

if the joining is still damp, a simple wet rag will do the trick. If the joining is fully cured, then the first choice would be careful hand sanding using extrafine grit.

You will need 1 tablespoon white glue, 1/2 teaspoon borax, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 2 tablespoons warm water, 2 disposable cups, and 2 stir sticks. Dissolve the borax in the warm water. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of the borax mixture, and all cornstarch to the glue. Allow to stand for 15 seconds, then stir. Remove the mixture and roll in your hands to make a ball. This will be a sticky, but solidifies as it is rolled.

The best thing is White Vinegar, just put it on and comb it out!! be careful of eyes!! Smells quite bad so need to wash the hair after, but this also works on chewing gum and on clothes, carpets etc.
