Glue and Adhesives

I use the tape runner sold by Creative Memories for my albums. I use the tape runners sold by Hobby Lobby for my cards and gift tags.

Adhesive tape can be used for taping gauze to wounds, taping envelopes, or even cloth. Adhesive tape is sticky without any heat or solvent needed.

Adhesive tape can be used to tape things together. It a pinch, it can also be used as string.

Use a kitchen towel or cotton wool ball and wet with hot water. Then dab onto sticky label and using a paper clip or something similar, gently push it underneath the sticky label and slowly peel back. Done!!!!!!!!! P.S Don't blame me if it doesn't work for you as it sure works for me! Though i know someone with long nails who can get their nail under the label so if you know someone with long nails, ask them!

You can try scraping it off with a putty knife. If you happen to gouge the drywall in the process, use drywall mud over the spot, smooth it over with a putty knife. After it dries, try sanding it. If it is still not flat, scrape on a bit more drywall, allow to dry and sand again.

I would suggest not using Elmer's Glue, because it will not hold very well. If anything, use super glue, but this could quite well damage your natural nail. Try to find a nail-glue that you could find near the section where you buy the nails.

If it's really stuck down hard, I usually heat it with a hairdryer, then pull gently while still heating it. As soon as you have an inch or two up, direct the hairdryer underneath and keep pulling. Any residue left can be removed with Goo Gone - it won't damage any fabric.

If you are trying to adhere metal to a tile with no screws or anchors of any sort, I would try using pl400 construction adhesive. It comes in regular caulking tubes and sticks to anything just about. You should however, buy some drill bits suitable for porcelain tiles and drill some holes to anchor whatever metal you want to attach. You will also need some drill bits for drilling through the metal. I hope this helped. Make sure you read the limitations of the adhesive on the back of the tube itself to ensure it is adequate for what you want to do. Be safe.

Not on its own. If you are making your own add PVA glue to the water before mixing. enough to make look like skimmed milk.

Elmer's glue is not bad for the environment.

Silicone is best for that.

Epoxy or polyepoxide is a thermosetting polymer formed from reaction of an epoxide "resin" with polyamine "hardener". Epoxy has a wide range of applications, including fiber-reinforced plastic materials and general purpose adhesives.

If plastic is melted I guess it would be useless and the ways u can get rid of it is by either scratching it off or use solvents such as Hexane's ( to buy this solvent I think you need a licence and it is extremely flammable).Plastic dissolves in this type of solvents and then you can just rinse it off. The safest and most effective way is to heat up your wood stove (as I assume the melted plastic is on the outside) and use a putty knife to scrape it off when it's hot.

You haven't said what type. So an average would be a little over a kilo per litre.

It's basically a form of silicon.

Elmer's white glue will hold wood together for craft projects and toys. - Yellow carpenter's glue will hold better. The best of all is TiteBond lll which has been scientifically tested and proven to be the strongest of today's available wood glues.

Not directly as the ceramic tiles will soon show through the vinyl flooring. If the ceramics are laid on a wooden floor, you must take up the tiles and overboard with 6mm plywood. If the tiles are on a concrete floor, you can leave them down and lay a latex screed on top to provide you with a smooth floor for your vinyl

Sometimes nail polish remover will work. If not, there's a product made specifically for that. Look in the drug store for it.

You can make tree sap glue from many trees. -Native Indians in the north used pine sap mixed with very finely crushed charcoal for glue. -It works, I've tried it.

Personal experience has shown washing a pool table felt on HAND WASH cycle (if available on your washer) with minimum detergent & cold water works. Do not use fabric softener. Dry on low heat. Better to dry for longer on a low temp. No dryer sheets!

try ice or heating it back up with a lighter to melt it and wipe it off

Crazy glue's chemicals cause the nails of the hand and foot to weaken, causing them to break or tear off over time. It is advised to use only the amount needed to make the repair, and then leave it alone.
