Glue and Adhesives

Some glues set by their solvent drying, others set by pressure, and others suc as epoxy, set by chemical reaction.

Depends on the type of superglue. Most superglues will come off of a smooth stone (eg granite) countertop with some water, a knife, and some other good scraping flat edge. There is also probably a chemical reaction you can find(google is your friend) to undo the sticky bond of the superglue but the scraping is easier and probably safer for your countertop.

JB Weld or JB Kwik. Good strong epoxies that are easy to use, and great for die cast. You can find them at most big box stores. I think they have it at car parts stores too.

My advice would be to use "model Master's" clear parts cement and window maker glue which goes on colorless and dries completely clear.

You can not make Elmer's glue. - just buy the bottle.

If you mean a 2 part resin adhesive, they are much stronger than Elmer's original.

Absolutely without a doubt, Clorox Disinfecting Wipes (bleach free). A few minutes of wiping and light rubbing using fingernail and it came right off. The super glue spot was not real thick but it should still do the trick for heavier spots too.

Then you use another glue that doesn't need a glue gun.

To bond foam to foam, spray Clearco 444 Adhesive Spray, or equivalent, on the both surfaces to be joined and allow to dry until tacky as directed on the product label. Press the two foam pieces together for a permanent, flexible bond. This method is ideal for building layers of foam, to attach foam edges together, and to repair cuts and tears in foam.

Goof Off will dissolve it, and then you can scrape it off. You can buy a small can of it for less than $5 at a hardware store or homecenter. It's very handy stuff to have around the house. It removes glue, paint, ink, and so on.

Put a puzzle together and get a piece of cardboard just a little bit bigger/smaller OR cut a piece the same size. Glue the puzzle pieces on in this order: corners and edges first, then the next row from the outside, the next row and the next until you get to the middle. make sure it is all securely glued dowm. MAKE SURE THE PUZZLE IS SOLVED RIGHT!!!

take some petrol in a bottle and put thermocol into it umtil the petrol stoped absorbing the thermocole then you will get a paste (use something to cover your hands bottle will be very hot).take that paste and stic what you wanted make sure that it is in a liqued form your glue is ready

I would probably use spray adhesive. It holds well and does not bleed through like liquid glue would. It grabs on contact so you can not reposition the cloth once it is put down.

I personally would use a mechanical fixing alone (screw) or avoid doing it altogether especially if the material is exposed to the elements (you do not mention). The reason being is the thermal expansion of the two materials will be at different rates and stretching and warping may ensue.

UV rays and heat from the sun may also damage the glue over time.

As long as the adhesive is not over a wide area it won't matter. Self-levelling does bind best to real concrete, especially if you add latex to it.

Many companies make "wood glue", specifically to be used on wood projects. Buy a good brand, such as Elmer's Wood Glue.

You might try "Shoe Goo". It is sold everywhere usually located with shoe laces and shoe polish. It is used for mending shoes and I have used it on leather. It works really well. You might also try Glue-all or contact cement.

You need a large rectanguler piece of balsa wood glider. Get some balsa wood glue if availble but you can use any type of glue. You may also use clay as glue. You need clay to put on the front of the glider if the glider noses up. Cut out your shape and put it together and it will look like this

There are several products on the market that assist in removing hair bonding glue. You can either apply the solvents at home or go to a hair care professional. Check your local department store or beauty supply shop for a professional bond removal cream. Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer to properly apply the product to the hair.
