Yes, like all animals, goldfish need oxygen. They get it through their gills from the water they swim in .
Air should be provided to an aquarium via a small pump. This helps to remove gasses from the water that might build up and provides oxygen that will dissolve into the water. It also helps keep the tank clean.

Do goldfish prefer to be alone or with another goldfish?
I always think one looks lonely. If you have two, and are lucky your goldfish might breed Babies! Anyway a collection is much better than two because they might breed more!
Neko means "cat" in Japanese... the word is rooted in Japanese history, culture, language, manga and anime: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMvGj2R_dQI
Over the past decade, the use of this word has been evolving and adapting to imply a global "catgirl" phenomenon -- namely humans "dressing up cat" in real life. Evidence of this can be found in Japanese cosplay http://www.jbox.com/PRODUCT/NET067, European catgirl forums such as http://www.catgirls.org.uk/ and virtual online communities as depicted on the blog Virtual Neko in Second Life: http://virtualneko.com
Related words:
Bakeneko: a character from historical folklore, a "ghost cat" with supernatural abilities
Nekomimi: the Japanese term for catgirls, literally meaning "cat ears." A catgirl is a person who dresses up (in real life, or in online virtual communities) with ears, a tail, and sometimes additional accoutrements such as paw gloves and boots.
Nekomusume: this sometimes also applies to catgirls (though less often), and literally means "cat daughter."

Can Daphnia and Goldfish live together?
Yes. Aslong as the gold fish (coldwater fish) and the pleco (warm water fish) do not go into one extreme or the other on the temperature scale. Your plecostomus will look like it is eating your goldfish if it doesn't get enough food.
What is the similarities between a lizards and a goldfish?
Goldfish are very gentle and low mantinance pets. They get along with each other fine and are usually not the fish that will fight. (This does make them an easy target, only place goldfish with goldfish)
There is a large variety of goldfish to choose from-fancy, black colored ones, large eyed ones. However, the "fancier" the fish, the more the life span decreases and mantinance increases.
To some it all up, goldfish are excellent first time pets and are great for someone of any age!
Can you fix a broken goldfish tail?
No, it will make due with what is left.
Umm I disagree Most fish i have observed had no trouble regrowing fins when damaged or taken off completely. In good conditions they shouldn't have this problem but if it's a disease or environmental problem then it won't grow back until conditions are repaired and the other fins may fall victim to the same fate. Occasionally the fin won't grow back for unknown reasons but generally the fish usually do okay with a missing fin as long as it's in a goldfish only tank. Check for fin rot and keep that tank as clean as possible for a while to give the best chance at regrowth.

What types of fish do goldfish get along with?
Goldfish can only live with other goldfish. I know this is a rather sad, depressing thing, but I will remind you that there are lots of other goldfish that are pretty and there's a wide variety of them. You may notice that goldfish tanks are usually a bit bare, because only goldfish can live there. Tropical fish don't simply work out with goldfish, because of the temperature and really because they aren't supposed to live with each other in the wild anyway.
Though it's not a fish, if you really want to put some other sea creatures in your tank, I suggest to put sea snails. It's really the only other sea creature you can put in with goldfish, in my opinion. But be careful, snails can be a bit dirty!
Can snails and goldfish live in the same tank?
No, molly fish are tropical goldfish are coldwater, also a goldfish will grow quite significantly larger than a molly fish and may pose a threat to the molly's life. These two very different fish have different nutrient requirements so therefore they must be fed different diets- which would be extremely hard to do being that the goldfish would probably eat all ther food.
What fish and koi can coexist in same pond?

Is a 20 gallon tank big enough for a beared dragon?
Technically, you could but they probably won't mate. At least a 40 gallon cage is required for one adult bearded dragon, and larger is recommended for two. If they are being mated, they need a lot of space and they have to be able to access some kind of rock or log that is higher up than the others, so the male can feel dominant when he climbs on top. The substrate in the terrarium needs to be something that can be dug in to make a proper burrow that doesn't collapse, but make sure it's digestible otherwise they could get impacted and die. Once the eggs come out, they need to be stored in an incubator, and then the babies need another terrarium of their own, after they hatch, so the parents don't eat them.
Will koi fish tail fin re-grow itself or regenerate?
Depending on the damage, a fin can grow back provided the fish is cared for properly and the water is clean
How many fish can live in a 12 gallon tank?
Since a 12 gallon tank will actually hold considerable less when in use (Tanks are never filled to the brim and usually have some water displaced by gravel etc) The maximum amount of fish would be less than 12 inches. (around 10 inches) The basic rules of sucessfull fishkeeping are. :- 1 inch of fish needs at least 1 gallon of water. :- Every tank must have a permanently running 'cycled' filter. :- Every tank needs at least 50% of its water replaced every week. Folloe the above and your fish will stand a chance of survival. Fail to follow them and I can guarantee that your fish will be constantly getting sick and will live a shortened lifespan.
Are tropical fish easy to keep?
Fish are easy to look after as long as you do some research before you buy your fish so they have the right size tank, the sort and temperature of water, the right filter and friendly tank mates.
If you have your fish tank set up correctly your fish will only need feeding once or twice a day and every week or fortnight you may have to change some water or clean the filter or some other small maintenance job.

Can a goldfish live with a paradise fish?
There are several reasons why housing these two very different types of fish together would be a bad idea. First off, paradise fish need to be housed in warm water and goldfish need to be housed in coldwater, there is no way to compromise here without harming your fish's health and certainly preventing them from thriving. Along with not having proper water temperatures there would also probably be quite a big size difference and a number of aggression issues caused by either of the fish. The paradise fish will probably be able to eat faster then the goldfish thus causing the goldfish to starve, also paradise fish and goldfish have different nutrient requirements and need to be fed different types of food(which you can assume is hard to do if the paradise fish keeps eating the food intended for the goldfish).
