Why does a golf ball roll far?
There are several attributes of a golf ball that make it fly farther than a tennis ball.
A golf ball is smaller than a tennis ball, so it has less surface area, which means it experiences less drag (air resistance) as it hurtles through the air. Furthermore, the tennis ball's surface is fuzzy, which increases its air resistance, whereas a golf ball's jacket is hard and dimpled, which improves its aerodynamic properties, increasing its distance when struck. Many different dimple patterns and designs have been experimented with to increase a golf ball's "length." A golf ball is more rigid and elastic than a tennis ball. It resists deformation much more than a tennis ball does, and when deformed, it returns to its original shape more quickly. This means that more kinetic energy -- of the club in the case of the golf ball and the racket for a tennis ball -- is transferred to the ball to propel it and is not wasted on deforming it. Incidentally, experiments have proved that the golf ball is the fastest moving object in all of sports (not counting the shooting sports, of course). ADDITION: The ball in JAI ALIA is the fastest ball in sports.

What size height are mens golf clubs fitted to?
In doing some quick research myself, I heard 5' 10" tends to be the average.
Here's an add on: I'm 6' 4" do they sell beginner club sets for my height?
-TB
The ideal length of your golf clubs actually depends on both your height AND the length of your arms. In order to correctly identify the length that you need, you need stand upright and measure the distance from your wrist to the floor. I'm 6'1" and measure 38" from wrist to floor. My clubs are 1" longer than standard.
As for the 2nd question, I don't think you'll find any clubs that fit you correctly on the shelf as all I've ever seen are standard length and lie. Being 6'4" you'll likely need something longer than standard but can have them custom built at most golf shops. Changing the length generally costs about $10/club but it'll keep you from developing bad habits from using clubs that are too short. Another option (and probably cheaper) would be to find a used set that is already longer than standard.
What year is your Yamaha G5 golf cart?
I have a marketeer with a serial number of 13966. What year is it?
What is the average golf handicap for a beginner male golfer?
Most golfers can not legitimatly break 100. That said, of people who consider themselves 'golfers', I'd suggest the average to be around 18 or 20. If you can shoot in the 90's, you have nothing to be worried about, and you're probably in that range.
When pro golfers tie do they split prize money?
In a PGA tournament, if two players are tied at the end of regulation play, a sudden-death playoff round begins in which the players are paired together on the same hole. The first player to shoot a lower score than the other player wins the tournament. This can continue for more than one hole, as long as the players continue to shoot the same score.

What is the play ground of golf called?
If you mean the place where golfers buy memberships and meet to play the game and have a drink afterward, that kind of golf club is also called a country club.
If you mean the actual metal-headed clubs themselves--the tools that they swing to hit the ball with-- then I don't know another name that applies to all of them. But some of them can be grouped into different categories, because within the family of "clubs" you have "drivers" and "fairway woods" and "long irons" and "irons" and "wedges" and "putters."
When do golf balls travel further when it is hot or when it is cold or when it is raining?
it really depends on the weather conditions. you have to take both wind, rain and hardness of the ground into consideration
how far a ball travels depends on how much the ball reacts off the face of the club, its called the trampoline effect. The harder you swing, the more the ball is compressed at impact and that translates into how fast it leaves the clubface or springs off the clubface. If you can't compress the ball it won't spring off the face so it won't go anywhere. That being said if its winter the ball is really hard and you can't compress it. A ball will travel the farthest on a warm sunny day. I am a PGA TOUR caddy so I really need to know this so I can club my player. If we play in the morning and its cool, we need to take a 1/2 club to sometimes a full club more.
Each hole is assigned a par, which is the amount of shots that it should take to complete the hole.
You can have a 3 different pars, 3,4 and 5 on the very rare occasion there may be a par 6. This in not likely on championship courses.
An Albatross ocucurs when a golfer takes 3 shots less than the par.
So in effect a par 3 cannot have an albatross scored on it as that would be a score of zero which isn't possible.
On a par 4 the player would only take one shot for the ball to end up in the hole.
On a par 5 the player takes only two shots to complete the hole.
Needless to say an Albatross is a rare score!
What do you do if you hit your golf ball onto the green of another hole?
You place a coin behind your ball, if they played away and hit your ball they would receive a two shot penalty- they would then have to play their ball as it lies and you would have to replace your ball.
When someone refers to the term "foreplay", they are referencing certain acts performed before intercourse. These acts can range from kissing to oral sex, depending on how comfortable the couple is with one another.
What does the orange dot mean on ping golf culbs?

During a fitting a golf pro figures out what angle is best for you and has a chart for what color matches you for the best fit.
What is the loft Taylor made r7 sand wedge?
46 degrees. Also the A wedge is 51 and the sand wedge is 55.
Number 1: You play by the rules, even if no one else is watching. Other competitive sports have officials watching everyone all the time; in golf, you're supposed to watch yourself. I'm not going to claim that I've never used a hand wedge to get out of a bunker, but anytime you're playing for real there's a sense of integrity about the sport (even at my miserable level) that would never tolerate spitballs or crackback blocks. Number 2: It's not how, it's how many. Doesn't matter what your shots look like, it only matter how many you take to get it in the hole. A 300 yard drive counts the same as a six inch putt. Number 3: Respect the course. It's a living thing that the groundskeeper spends a lot of time keeping in shape. Hundreds of people tramp through it every day, and everyone needs to do his part to prevent damage whenever possible or fix any damage done. Fix ball marks on the green. There's almost always a poster in the dressing room to show you how. The course will undoubtedly give you a repair tool if you ask for one, but I find that I can do a better job with less work using the big metal ones that cost a buck or two. Tend divots according to the local instructions: some courses want them replaced, others want them filled in with sand. Don't tear up the trees. Number 4: Swinging hard does not generate distance.
