A person that shoots 1 over on each hole. For instance, if the hole is a par 4, a bogey golfer would get a 5 on it, and for the total round would shoot a score of exactly 90. In rating the difficulty of courses through course rating and slope rating, the USGA defines a bogey golfer thusly: "A player with a USGA Handicap Index of 17.5 to 22.4 strokes for men and 21.5 to 26.4 for women. Under normal situations the male bogey golfer can hit his tee shot 200 yards and can reach a 370-yard hole in two shots. Likewise, the female bogey golfer can hit her tee shot 150 yards and can reach a 280-yard hole in two shots. Players who have a Handicap Index between the parameters above but are unusually long or short off the tee are not considered to be a bogey golfer for course rating purposes."

Can you fix a Toro 690 Sprinkler stem?
90% of the time it is a broken stem that needs to be repaired on the 690 toro sprinkler system.
For most people this results in them throwing the whole sprinkler away and buying a new one.
Usually this runs you around $200 (give or take) per sprinkler.
Now there is a company see link below that makes replacement stems for the 690 series toro sprinkler systems. They usually run for $25 each. Once they give that replacement stem a try... I have seen them being used on golf courses consistently after that. Way better alternative and without a doubt more cost effective.
Actually as of right now, this company is the only distributor of this replacement part (stem)

How do you put a grip on a shaft?
You'll need the following:
- a Stanley knife
- two-sided golf grip tape
- the new grip
- some golf grip thinner
1. Cut off the old grip with the knife (be careful)
2. Remove the tape that's underneath it and is on the shaft
3. Cut a piece of the new golf tape the length of the golf grip
4. Leaving a 1/4" of tape over the top of the shaft, wrap the tape around it
5. Peel off the outer layer of the two sided tape
6. Pour a little thinner on the tape and make sure it's all covered
7. Pour a little thinner in the golf grip. Stick a tee in the butt end where the hole is. Put your thumb over the open end and shake the thinner in the grip so the inside gets coated.
8. Slide the grip on over the shaft. Press the butt hard to make sure its all the way on.,
9. Align the markings on the grip with the clubface as desired
10. Leave for 24 hrs.

Is there a difference range golf balls and regulator golf balls?
Possibly. Many golf clubs and driving ranges use "limited flight" balls. This requires less space for the actual range itself.
The "range ball" is designed in such a way (with shallower dimples) that prevents it from flying as far as a "standard" flight golf ball.
Range balls also typically have a harder cover, making the ball more durable (but less forgiving and further decreasing its flight).
Ask the pro at the club or an employee at the range, and they should be able to tell you what kind of ball is used (limited or regular flight).

Can you charge an 8 volt battery with a 12 volt charger?
No, it would overcharge and ruin the battery.
#2 You can do it by using a series resistor to limit the current.
The resistance needed is equal to the voltage drop divided by the charging current.
The voltage drop is 4, and the charging current is one tenth the battery capacity, for example for a 2000 mAh battery the charging current is 200 mA.
So the resistance needed is 4/0.2 or 20 ohms. The power dissipated in the resistor is 4 x 0.2, or 0.8 watts, so you need a 20 ohm 1-watt resistor.
The battery should be charged for at least 10 hours if fully discharged, or until it becomes slightly warm to the touch. Do NOT let it overheat.
